I stayed at the Hôtel de Lille Louvre 4 days in February 2020 booked with Booking. First problem payment: I withdraw from the credit card for the total of the stay instead of just the deposit (tel a Booking that refunded me) I arrive at the hotel and when I ask to pay the balance they tell me all ok for the payment. I do not convince the request and very kindly tells me all ok. When I get home I go to see my cc and I realize that they have taken away the total of the stay (when paid more than 100 euros) Unfortunately I only noticed it at home and so I called Booking that does not refund the structure I refunded. The dirty obstruction of the property of the doctor and the doctor managed to bring me to live well overnight so I hope that the price of the hotel is not too bad.

Worst place ever been! Need to be entirely clean up! Will never comme back, even for free. Shame to be classified as tourist accomodation. Simplicity does not mean the place does not need to be clean. 


Horror in Paris

I booked this hotel in advance at the reception, making a reservation payment. Before that, I read the reviews and wrote off with the hotel administration to confirm my payment and not ask me to pay for it, because according to the reviews there were already such situations. When I arrived at the hotel at the reception a young man and an old man were sitting. They said that there were some problems with the sewerage and they were taking us to another hotel. We were very tired and submissive. But then it turned out that we were just sent to another place where we would have to pay for the accommodation again. We came back until the young man in the hotel didn't settle us, but we were about to have a bathroom.

It's just the location.

On arrival the person at the reception tells me that due to a water problem he has no shower in the room and that with a discount. I have the shower on the first floor floor and the toilet on the floor. Nice compared to what was announced. The room is almost clean. It's hard to turn around at 5:30 in Paris. No curtains. A curtain passing the light. Fortunately the street is quiet because sound insulation = 0. In the morning the common shower is flooded. Tap full of water. Shower curtain that you don't hold. No lunch (at the bottom better). Travelers. Travel girls avoid this small establishment.

To Flee Absolutely

Perfect location. Friendly and helpful staff. However, the place really needs a good clean. Hotel, please take note of this. Yes you get what you pay for, in the most expensive city in Europe a nights stay here is very inexpensive, but you also need to clean the walls, floors and bathrooms for your visitors. Comfy bed, clean bedding and fresh towels, but other than a chair and a table nothing else, not even a wardrobe. Not suitable for families and children but if you are just wanting a base to explore the city from this will do. Only suitable for the most mobile of people. Steep staircase which in parts slants to the side with age. If you are at the top of the building you have to be fit to get up those stairs. No lift. No dining area and no breakfast. Fascinating history the street has! Check it out on google! Discreet night club directly opposite though no noise disturbance. Great bars and restaurants in proximity.

Almost 700 years of history!

For only 110 euros you get an incredible experience: one night in a room half a city U (the 1980s) and half a prison cell in a backward country. Shower and toilet on the counter (I found the shower by relying on my smell, I carefully avoided the toilet). No need to comment on the condition of the walls, ceiling and floor... the whole thing is regrettable.

I booked the hotel and then cancelled the booking, the hotel announced that there were no charges, then charged me the charges on my credit card, requested a refund, but did not refund my money.

El Hotel Cobro carries debts on my credit card.

the firs night at 19.00 the room was not ready, and did not have the room we booked.  they separated us, and  gave us 2 pokey, dirty, rooms, one of them: their loft private room, wiht teir rubish in it. the other very  hot room, at the base of the hotel. the  window opened to a tiny patio, and was opposite a shared bathroom so the light and the noise woke me constantly. since i booked it to pay at the hotel i asked to get a discount at least, but they already took the money so I got nothin but smiles.  the second night  finally got the family room I booked and it was much better. although still rund down wiht mold in every room and shower, at least it was spacious and wiht 2 windows. if you want a place only to sleep, it is ok otherwise go further or spend a bit more. the photos look much better that what it is.

We booked in January 2019 via booking at the last minute. When we arrived, the booker (or boss) tells us that the booking didn't work and doesn't appear in the database. He asks us to pay in cash what we do.. 2 days after the bank withdrawal via booking worked well! result we paid twice for a badly isolated room which is more!!, impossible to get refunded, the boss is allegedly absent or never available/Flee these dishonest people!

Cancellation two hours before the keys are delivered, reservation made two months in advance with reservation, reason for renovation, who cares?
