Stayed just one night here.  Had a four poser room with bath behind it.  Monique speaks perfect a English and recommended an excellent local restaurant.  20 mins walk away.  Had Calvados left in our room upon return.  Superb breakfast for €8 each.

Great hostess and charming B&B

The guests are very friendly and very caring. I recommend this guest room. The room is very large and decorated in a country style. The bathroom is large and very functional; the shower is huge. The only bemool would be for the small toilets, an older person would feel narrow but unfortunately there is no room to enlarge them. The breakfast is very tasty and delicious. Croissants are cooked in the morning and if we want it, scrambled eggs can be served. The smaller one? the glass of baldness that was waiting for us when we returned from our evening.

We booked a room for the ascent at the Manor du Poirier de Chio and we received a very warm welcome from the owners in a very quiet and very beautiful place.The room with the balcony bed is beautiful, breakfast is very generous Mrs. Monique is taking care of you, the owners are very kind, if you need any information about the restaurant, local products do not hesitate Monique is very well informed so that you will not be disappointed at last wonderful weekend

Good weekend

Room cluttered with an impressive volume of pillows We are given the keys to our room, but the next day we find out that the owner has entered our room (reservation of two consecutive nights) under the pretext of putting paper back in the bathroom. The door remained open, unlocked afterwards while other guests stayed on the same date. First proper breakfast, the very next day. The guests ask us to go through the garden to have breakfast. It rains, but we go out to get on the side by an annex...this is not a room worthy of guests....

Suspicious hosts, who don't trust these keys on a first stay

Somebody came in August to Pont the Bishop for professional reasons and we had to stay for a few days We had a very courteous and friendly welcome from the owner who welcomed us more as his family than as customers room and especially very comfortable bed

The name of the hotel is not USURP.

We stayed three nights here and had a wonderful time. Mme Monique and her husband were truly friendly and made us feel at home. We enjoyed our breakfasts at the garden full of home made marmalades, croissants and tartes, and a very enjoyable conversation with our hosts (and playing with Fifa!). We felt sorry to leave.

Friendly and charming. The best hosts!

Stayed with Monique for 5 days, she is an excellent host, nothing is too much trouble. She makes all the croissants and local cake, jams for breakfast. We also had excellent local cheese, meats and yoghurt for breakfast, with plenty of hot fresh coffee. Monique will also run you/pick up from the local restaurants if you feel you don't want to walk there and back, it takes about 20 mins to walk there.
The bedroom featured a four poster bed and a bath/shower which is discreetly placed behind the bed. There are tea and coffees in the room, and at night - Calvados.
Monique knows lots about the area and offers a first class service in her beautiful home.
I would have loved to have experience breakfast in the garden but it was not quite warm enough.
We will definitely make a return visit.


Beautiful all round stay

Booked this charming chamber d'hôte for it's convenient location on the way to Brittany. However we will return to explore the pretty town of Pont l'Eveque and will certainly stay again with Madame Piat. Not the cheapest accommodation we could have found but so worthwhile for the lovely room, delicious breakfast with local & home produce And the warm hospitality of Madame who recommended & booked the restaurant for dinner & left us glasses of Calvados as night caps! She speaks excellent English.
