Since 2014, the residence is no longer managed by Maeva. I have spent several weeks there in winter and summer. The residence is very quiet, there are no longer groups of young people making noise all night. The apartments have been bought by private individuals and are generally renovated.

Really mugged us off regarding damage deposits, they fabricated problems so as too squeeze more profit out of us (a group of students). We were charged £85 each (£340) for "extra cleaning"- we left the place spotless-, and a "broken table"- this is just completely made up. Small, dark and dingy, I'd rather sleep out in the snow. The entire "apartment" smelt like a chain-smokers' morning breath.
I wouldn't wish this accommodation upon Satan himself.

Diabolical

We booked via Maeva in the charmettoger village, we landed at the Ruitor, a very old apartment!! the carpet was damaged, the apartment smelled of cigarettes, the locked up, the toilets smelled of urine, so it was on us we had a very beautiful view of the valley but at the expense of a horrible apartment! the bathroom was all covered!!

The good news is that this residence is no longer managed by Maeva-Pierre and Vacance with its student groups for cheap vacations: noise, dirt, clutter. Since Maeva's management mandates have not been renewed and almost everything has been sold and apartments renovated, twinned, etc.

We booked a week in this residence. When we arrived (mid-August) we were told we would be overclassified in another residence of the group. We didn't have access to wifi so we had to do our hands and feet to have a wifi apartment. After an hour we were assigned a room in the thuria residence. The apartment was filled with cold cigarettes, the furniture is really old. We booked a six person and fortunately for what it is really small. A bathroom with a bed of two but only one side to access, 2 bedrooms 1 and 2 other beds in the sofa. The dishes are just too many, but no microwave for an hour. A small amount of noise.

It's better to stay somewhere else

By far the worst stay we've ever had, the apartment was dirty, in a deplorable condition and smelled like a cigarette, unable to sleep at night, youth groups partying, firecrackers exploding, the fire alarm going off... despite our complaints, no response from Maeva staff!

To be avoided at all!!!!!!

The apartments are in a good location, close to the lifts and shopping are with many cafes and restaurants.
The apartment was good for 2 people, but I imagine it would be pretty tight for more than that. the kitchen was well equipped, with a little oven, basic pots and pans and thankfully a dishwasher. We had to buy a 'cleaning pack' for washing up liquid etc, so if you were more organised than us you could bring this with you. 
I would also recommend bringing your own pillows, towels and blankets as the ones available there were pretty awful. They did provide good sheets though.

Cheap and cheerful

Hotel was in a good location, approx 5 mins short walk from the centre of les arcs 1800. The easiest ski lift (lapin) to access is across the road and a short ski down, this then provides access to the whole skiing valley. 
The room on arrival was clean and adequate bedding was provided. The room was spacious for 2 but possibly would be tight for 4 adults. Hot water and heating plentiful.

Adequate hotel for a skiing holiday

The great thing about this hotel is that you get your own ski locker which is great.  The accomodation is nothing like how it looks on line.  The accomodation was clean but very very basic very dark and out dated the only problem is that if you were put in this accomodation beause where you was ment to be staying was full you need to take everything back to the hotel you were supossed to be staying in.  overall the staff and service was ok  but dont expect to much when you get there
