The hotel Hafez is currently operated by a Persian family, which makes a very friendly impression. The reception is not always occupied and you usually have to use the bell to get into the house. Guests get a key, of course. The hotel is old and even the later extension with rooms with a balcony is in great need of renovation. The rooms give a cold, repulsive appearance and are equipped with old furniture. The cabinet no longer had a key and the room doors are one-sided taped and tape-recorded. At night the hallway lighting and so on and so on. Everything including the kitchen is very low. Everything is very quiet. The rooms are too expensive. The prices there are too high. Even at the breakfast table, I would not be able to recommend it much more than the average price, and I would not recommend it much more for the hotel, even if it were not for breakfast and breakfast.

Not suitable for holiday

We were here over the weekend from Friday to Sunday. Obviously it's not a four star hotel. But it was all clean and the breakfast was good. Everything there. They always got very well fed up. The reception was very, very friendly and had and immediately gave tips on where to cook and eat. For the price it's okay.

It's clean and okay.

We booked a room for New Year's Eve two months in advance. Despite confirmation via email, there was no room available. The hotelier was not a suburb not to be reached. Another couple complained that they were getting a dirty room. We did not receive compensation despite multiple written and oral requests.

Totally disappointed.

We were so late even though we told not to. But they waited for us until we arrive. That was very nice of them. The room was clean and neat. Internet was fast and okay. So it has enough quality and price performance for a business trip.

Enough for business

We need a 3-star hotel for one night and book a 3-star hotel. The hotel Hafez definitely doesn't deserve the three stars! Cleanliness: The bathroom fittings were dirty and there was hair in the sink. Room condition: stored: both nightstand lights didn't work; there was no electricity (to charge our phones) on four plugs; a footprint was missing; in the flower box there was just a lot of money and other unnecessary stuff; behind a nightstand there was a centimeter of cracking technology: WLAN: normally you get the password with the key transfer or some hotel room - together with the usual - with the usual bugs.

Smudged and dropped

Hotel from the 70s. Then built and stayed standing! You can't talk about rooms. I've never seen such small beds in my whole life... hotel reception? It smells like sweat... public area? Everything muffles... room closet? Not there... shower curtain? Not even the first one from the 70s. Never washed or changed... cleanliness? It's just different... furniture? If there are they're broken and dirty... breakfast? breakfast? packaged, put on the plate and served... coffee? price undeniable... much too high.......!!!

What, a hotel?

It is an Iranian Business Hotel, the room are ok and also the breakfast; maybe a little expensive for what it gives. The plus is the location, close to most of Place of Interest in Tehran and also the service of the Staff, very helpful and kind.

Good

We were there (married couple 75 to 79 years old) and looked at the change of year.The reception is occupied only in exceptional cases; we received a message. Unfortunately no confirmation of our booking.

It's an older building.

Apparently something happened at this hotel. My colleague said that this hotel was not recommended, but nothing else was available at the time. He was very positively surprised. Apparently the change of management has brought something. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was absolutely acceptable for the price range.
