You could/should have logged in with Luca, which I thought was positive. The staff was friendly, had all hands full, as she was obviously solely responsible for the outdoor area. I can't say anything about the interior because I wasn't there. My husband had a bunch of mushrooms and toast, which I didn't like in appearance, but it must have tasted quite well, but the toast was very fat. I had a flame cake with vegetables, well, I just did. The vegetables consisted of rough cucumbers of some carrots, cabbage and 2 chickens and that was it. We found the location very nice.

Good location

The menu didn't arrive until after 10 minutes, although there weren't many guests in the room. The service was very short-lived and seemed uncomfortable or overwhelmed. The food, 2 farmer's panes of fries and mirror lemon, came after at least 30 minutes. The fries were floating in oil and the undefined sausage was labyrinthine and tasted very bad. The service was no longer visible and so we put the counted money on the table and left. The only beautiful location under the castle was the location of food and service you can forget.

Poor food, unfriendly service

The prices are quite high and the service is virtually non-existent. The situation and the lack of competition justify this well. One single lady has to do the service under stress, while another lady - was it the boss? - kicks one after the other. The terrace is nice-dominates the cocktail room atmosphere. Drinks after 40 minutes. The asparagus is badly peeled. It's just annoying.

I was dissatisfied

After a hike, we got hungry. The food tasted good for everyone, including flame cakes, handbags and goodies. The prices for the drinks are very high. Even for the location. Inside it's dirty, the terrace is nice, but you'll see a sex toy machine otherwise only on the motorway tank. And unfortunately, it works that way. The service was incredibly unfriendly. Even when you called her to see if she had a problem, it didn't get any better. And that's absolutely not possible. But thanks to the location, the customer is a renewable raw material.

It doesn't have to be.

The food is just far away from any enjoyment, the service is average, the drinks prices are far for this region! Over average, I have the impression that you want to make a strong cash here with the predominant day tourists.

I can't believe this.

We've never written a review on Tripadvisor before. Why we do this after a visit to the tower inn should talk volumes. We can't say anything about the hotel, we were just having dinner. The food was horrible: wooden spaghetti, only half-cooked potatoes, etc. We dropped the food. You have to be honest with the inn that we only had to pay for one meal.

Horrible food

The food is as bad as the staff. While we were waiting for the drinks, however, our server had time to smoke two cigarettes. The sauce on the slice was inedible. The salad out of the can. Overall, it's awful. We're annoyed that we didn't look at the reviews before the meal. Hopefully others are doing differently!

Not rude, but unkind

The location is perfect and the atmosphere is lovely.  Owners are interesting.  Appear to speak very little English, but could when needed.  Owners seem to think we didn't understand any German and did talk about us with their local patrons quite a bit. Arrived at night and it took a bit to get taken to rooms, some of which are at a house off site, very little conversation and we actually missed seeing a room that was behind a door we weren't shown, causing confusion and angst for everyone.

Could Have Been Great

The terrace outside and also the gas chamber inside are dirty and cozy - but that was it. The homemade chickens are hard, really hard, and tasteless. Moreover, there are plenty of whistles (even though), but the frame sauce just tasted bad. The salad, although with different ingredients, but without spices. We were not too dissatisfied with the food as in this place for a long time. It's a shame, because you could make a lot more out of it! The service was smooth and friendly. However, she only noticed our criticism of the hard chickens with an armpits.

This is how you grease customers! The food is very average, and there's only a bunch of them out there - more precisely, big beers. Even if you still have to drive. Of course, this doesn't apply to the local family table at the neighborhood table, they're served with everything they like. Hessian two-class society. And the staff is, except for a nice young man, unfriendly. Never again.
