What a great place. We only stayed 1 night in Koln, visiting the cathedral and chocolate museum. We chose this hotel because it was cheap and had availability - but actually it was a superb little find. Totally recommended. 

The “party trick” for the room we had was an unexpected roof terrace!!! So nice - has a bench and a nice sitting area under cover as well as a bench outside on the roof. Lovely view. We didn’t have time to do so but would be great for a quiet evening with a book and a bottle of wine!!

Our room fitted the 3 of us - mum, dad and daughter - and the people in the cafe downstairs are so friendly! 

We arrived first thing, and they were happy for us to drop our bags way before check in, which was nice. Had a lovely coffee and ice cream when we arrived and prices very reasonable for the ice creams - which were delicious!!

The room itself has quite a compact private bathroom with a shower, and shampoo /conditioner and towels which were all nice - proper bottles, not those little things. Super clean. Linen and towels were also super clean and nice. tea/coffee kitchenette appears to be shared with one other apartment, but we didn’t see anyone there. Milk was on hand in the fridge and in a carton rather than having to “ration” each cup like in most hotels. Everything was really nice. 

To be clear, the room is clean and functional - not what you would call  “posh”, but practical and was very nice for us. I tend to prefer the “down-to-earth” places, like this - and this was super quirky and nice. The people who run this place had clearly put in a real effort to make it nice and to keep it nice. Thank you!! 

Location is spot on for seeing the sights - everything is in walking distance. Lovely restaurants and cafes and bars - so much choice, (although the restaurant we picked was quite pricey). 

This hotel was great though!! And the staff were super nice and friendly also. Roof terrace is the icing on the cake!

Superb little hotel. Cosy and friendly and great location in the old town. Perfect for a sightseeing base

I and my friend were going to stay at Haus Enterasan Hotel on 25-27 March. Our plane and train tickets were canceled due to the strike in Germany. We sent our change request for a remote date to the hotel but got a refusal. So we contacted the hotel, and they inappropriately spoke to us. they criticized that they would be without customers and that the money we were chasing was too small. but since we are students we don't want to waste our money and at least we wanted to change the date. If you are going to this hotel, I would like you to know that the cancellation and change processes are difficult.

strike and hotel victimization

We have stayed in this place at the end of August. I would say it is more air & bnb rather than a hotel but for the money you pay you actually are getting a decent place to stay. 
The place is a bit dated and had like an old smell, and mattress was very very soft, bathroom on the smaller side. 
The location deserves 10*. You are literally facing the river and few minutes away from old town and all bars and main shopping street. Also less than 7 min walk from Cathedral. Restaurants literally just outside your door but if you walk for two minutes you will get cheaper prices. 
Overall , place does need some upgrading to make it a bit more new but really for the price it’s a good place and location. 

Good place to stay

The location is awesome, couldn’t have been better and that’s really what we were looking for. The room, meh could have been better but we got a really good rate and got what we paid for. There was an odd smell the duration of our stay, maybe want to look into that 😅

Pretty decent place

We decided to stay in this hotel for the next trip to Cologne. We decided to stay in this hotel for the following reasons:. - booking offered only this hotel with accommodation in one room for 2 adults and 2 children.. - very good location, all the sights and the train station.. We had 2 rooms over each other, which is quite convenient.. Although in the hotel only 3 rooms. And all are located over each other.. For four, of course, the room is small. For two - quite.

A big family vacation

The location which is excellent, close to the shopping area, Central Station and restaurants. I also liked the size of the room and the hosts. 
 · The breakfast was not varied as it was not buffet! It was served at the bar which I guess belonged to the hosts but it was not bad!

Very good flat

We only spent one night in Cologne.The apartment we stayed in was very centralised, very affordable quality.The only glue, that the curtains did not cover the windows and was somewhat indiscrete.The breakfast was very complete.Even with gluten-free products, which we needed.

Very central.

The situation is great... but it doesn't make the rest better. (the price was completely over) the breakfast is enough...but...where it's served is not right...(in the pizzeria with two small tables in the sun)) The employee was very nice... the steep escalators on all floors. The room with its old equipment is partially defective, the mini TV has only three programs (all others are locked up)... the room service only looks a little bit past the bathroom...no cleaning..The pictures on the internet are unfortunately not up to date...the carpenter gave a false impression...the uprooted pictures in the room covered the water stains...(even on the desk we won't get another picture...)

Once tried... and never again.

Unfortunately, so far, it's the worst place I've ever booked. And the whole thing for a shameless 103.95€. The house is totally old and messy. The bathroom smells disgusting even though the window was on a zipper all the time. There's something broken and patched up in every corner. There's a kind of flexible pipe on the toilet drain. What do you mean what's in these grooves that collects everything?🤔 We've given up showering because the shower is molded and the whole bathroom is a toilet. The shower beds are soft. You feel like you're lying your head down.  Clothes  a catastrophe. Since I wouldn't even go back to the bathroom.

The house is a disaster.

I try to keep it short: TOP: - location - nice check-in - view of the Rhine Flop: - old, partially defective furnishings - mold in the bathroom including defective toilets - too soft mattresses - dust under the bed - stains on the bedcloth - old City Flyer distributed throughout the room (dressing rooms) - breakfast booked but no one gets any (third floor, according to info on the note) - heating too loud. Should be unveiled! - no curtains to darken - TV has not worked at all - bad toilet grill in the bathroom is very bad, because this house would have potential. The rooms are large, beautiful old workshops and the view of the Rhine is unfortunately not to say anything. Just keep everything clean here and I won't be keeping anything better in the cologne.
