We stayed for two nights in the old shelter. The situation in the new town of Dresden is very good. Many places and breakfast facilities are quickly accessible. Since we prefer to have a hearty breakfast, we did not order a sweet breakfast basket. The landlord is very friendly, the rooms are very clean, and we slept well. Since you can't completely darken the rooms, we woke up relatively early. But that wasn't so bad, of course. The garden is very beautiful if you have the opportunity to sit out there - you have to take advantage.

Idyllic good location

A friendly welcome, nice rooms, good location in the outskirts of New York City. We were thrilled - great price-performance ratio! If you like to travel in the scene district, living beautifully, cheaply and uncomplicatedly, you're in the right place here.

Nice accommodation in a very good location

In Dresden, we were recommended by acquaintances to the New Town, and when we were looking for accommodation, we came across the old condo and were not disappointed. In a small side street this fancy accommodation hides itself. The rooms are small but fine and furnished with a lot of attention to detail. You have a small kitchen island and a folding dining table in the room. The small shower is properly equipped and everything is clean. You can have a sweet breakfast in the winter garden if you want, which we have always liked very much. In the immediate area there are already many small restaurants and also supermarkets, and up to Alaunzenstraße there is only one table. Also in the surrounding area there is a catwalk, but you can also go to the nearby area without any problems, but you can also go to the surrounding area with a catwalk.

Something special.

It's a very comfortable place. Great room, good breakfast and very nice landlord. The location in the New Town is central, the old town with the sights is also easily accessible on foot and publicly.

It's a great place to stay.

The Alte Remise a small private property run on the basis of an 'apart-hotel'. The rooms are self contained with sink, cooking utensils & crockery, refrigerator and a microwave oven as well as a bathroom with shower and good hot water.

Location is about 10 minutes out of the city centre by tram and lies between two tram stops - about 4 minutes walk away. The local area is well served by restaurants and bars and there's a supermarket across the road.

The owner is very friendly and goes out of her way to answer questions and make sure that guests have a good stay.

Good value property and a good base from which to explore Dresden

If you are looking for a great accommodation in the middle of the scenic area, you should book here. A few minutes from the tram and train station, you live in a relatively quiet side street. The new town with bars and restaurants is not far away and if you like to walk, you can reach the women's church in about 30 minutes!

Dreamy situation

After I found the Dresden city centre with its shopping malls and boring, because the immediate surroundings of interchangeable gastronomy concepts were very uninspiring, I looked for accommodation in an area that had a little more to offer for my next stay - and I found the Old Remise One. The house is located on the edge of the very lively Dresden New Town, Alaunstraat is five minutes' walk away, and also the immediate surroundings offer excellent infrastructure. The owners operate on the ground floor a store for massive furniture, and this is also satisfactory in the old remise facility.

Nice location in the new town.

We had a wonderful stay at the Alte Remise which offers a handful of beuatiful newly renovated, spotlessly clean and spacious rooms with immaculate new ensuite bathrooms.  It was very comfortable and the owners are wonderful hosts, espeically Anne who gave us some fantastic restaurant and cafe suggestions as well as assistance with other information about getting around Dresden.  They were very prompt to respond to email queries when I made the booking too.
The rooms are very quiet even though the building is close the main road.  It is a fifteen minute walk to the Old Town and a short tram ride from the nearby Konigsbrucker Strasse.  It is located near the many restaurants, cafes, pubs etc of the Aussere Neustadt.  This is absolutely the best mid-range accommodation option in Dresden!
