We've been to the restaurant a few times before, eating only two of us. On Easter, we've been to dinner with the family. Six people. The first three meals were delivered at the same time. Then one after another. The last meal came when the first ones were already ready. You can organize better. You should have all the dishes coming to the table at about the same time. The pork steak that came first, which is actually more or less ready, you can bring to the table when the slightly longer meals are ready. Even if it was running, but a good kitchen should have it already in hand. The food itself was always very good.

Food Serving a Disaster

We were here with our Harley team. We thought the hotel was a secret tip because of its location, because it was a little out of the way.

I 'd love to come back.

Food was right, service was right, but the kitchen didn't come back. Poor food quality and worst complaint management. It just didn't need it anymore and it's full! The host is self-confident and takes no part in the fact that he's delivering poor quality. He doesn't understand complaints. So go where you're welcome.

Doesn't need to be a good host anymore!

Overpriced & totally overrated. A wedding suite which by name and price promises a high-class room but is ultimately a normal double room?! On the way to the room in the staircase a strange unpleasant smell arrived in the room, saucalt (is it too much to require the heating to be turned on at an outside temperature of 2°C?)? Right in the entrance area there were still impassable fuzzles on the carpet and in the bathroom.

Wouldn't come here again

See good luxurious Bavarian food with decent - not always very attentive service. The hotel is very well equipped and conveniently equipped with very good breakfast. If you want to celebrate here, it is very well maintained.

Family run business where everything fits

Once again we were at the Hunter's Inn eating, and it was at one o'clock on a Sunday, so at the peak of lunchtime. And again I can only tell you good things about the restaurant. The reserved space was well-arranged, the service was quick to take place despite the full house and the drinks and then the food for 4 people were delivered in perfect condition after only a short time. Ox fries, golden pepper, cheese patties and crustal fries were fantastically prepared. Very delicious! And that in a really full house! Respect! The service kept asking for it. The price/performance ratio was back as expected, good. This is really to be recommended from the house. Unfortunately, no one was disappointed to be left behind. Due to the fact that the production should be more recommended!

Sunday excursion

This is a very nice hotel that is pleasantly situated far from the madding crowds. Beautiful traditional Bavarian architecture and furnishings. They also serve a nice breakfast. I didn’t arrive until midnight due to flight delays and other members of my group had checked me in or otherwise the desk would be closed. The hotel is an hour SE of Munich and in the country.

Excellent B&B in Bavaria 

Always good, price/performance suits. Good citizenry, tasty, portions very abundant. Extensive menu, friendly service, even under stress. Rich cakes, even homemade sausages and also to take with you. Large spaces for weddings, birthdays, etc. Beautiful fine beer gardens. Hotel rooms. Clean toilets in several versions, wrap-rooms, handicapped toilets. Everything very clean.

Lunch, often family celebrations.

Spent one night here in July 2017.  

Overall, it was a good experience.  It is a beautiful hotel with so much charm.  There is a small playground and goats in the back to keep children entertained. The drains in the bathroom were a problem, and the service was good but not friendly.

They have connecting rooms for larger families.  It is located in a small village with a beautiful lake in the back.  Munich is 35 minutes and Garmisch is 40 minutes away.

There is a restaurant in the hotel for dinner and the breakfast was very good with fresh bread, yogurt, fruit, eggs, bacon and much more.

Gladly stay here again!

Beautiful Country Hotel 

Jaegerwirt Hotel and Gasthof
represent everything about Bavarian
life.  We happened to stop by In Monday,
December 26th after calling to see if they were 
opened!  Not just opened, but the center of a 
Christmas community!

Incredible food, special dinners, and unbelievable service.  Restaurant was packed, with reservations stacking each table every three hours!

Very genuine, hard working families celebrating
Christmas together!

I also have attended their Summer Festival.
It is as if you step out of reality into a time
when farming and families counted!

This little town has the spark!
