We arrived late to the check-in deadline, due to the unexpected traffic, but we were greeted warmly and without any problems. The kitchen was now closed to the public, but we were also courted to prepare a quick hot plate and I must say it was really great. The room was large and well maintained, very special as it was almost at the edge of the rock. Very kind staff: they don't speak English, but we were able to communicate. Typical breakfast and plenty. There is a small parking lot; if full, as when we arrived, you can still leave the car nearby (parking in front of the church, a few meters away).

Perfect hospitality

Comfortable, affordable accommodation with beautiful, modern rooms. We had a very spacious rooftop room with a roof terrace and a view of the Main-Danube Canal. Comfortable guesthouse with a rich menu with local dishes. Nice host and staff - all in all highly recommended for a short vacation in the old mill valley. Unfortunately at the time we are staying at construction sites all over the place.

On our trip to Weltenburg/Kelheim we stayed here at the Relsenwastlwirt. Nice guests, decent rooms and a great breakfast buffet.

The landscape context is the first aspect that surprises: the village is quiet and quiet, set against a high vertical rock wall, and several rooms - including the one in which we stayed overnight - are seen... rock! Nevertheless, you breathe an air of peace and tradition, confirmed by the warm hospitality of the managers. The room is well organized, functional, clean and reasonably spacious. Very quiet at night! Very tasty breakfast, abundant and rich in fresh food. This is the Altmühl valley, to be discovered!

Oasis of peace and tranquility

It's a nice, but affordable place to stay, popular with cyclists and bikers. The locals also go out to eat and socialize together. The rooms are modern and quiet. The bicycles can be placed in the garage, enough car parking in front of the house or nearby. On the terrace you can sit wonderfully and enjoy the Bavarian cuisine. Nice guests and services.

Good price-performance ratio

We were looking for an overnight stay from our Croatian trip home to the north and happened to come across the rockswastlworst. We were very comfortable when the hostess took us in, and when we saw the room we were very impressed by the size and the view. Large rooms, comfortably furnished and above all very clean! The food, regional and well-bourgeois, tasted excellent, so we will surely make a stop here again on our next trip south. The morning was very rich and everyone will find something more for himself. Moreover, the price for a night is more than adequate.

Successful completion of a journey

The hotel was a great restaurant, the sights around and relatively near Regensburg. The rooms are clean, bright, modern. The staff is welcoming. A small disadvantage - sometimes Wi-Fi was cut off, but it was quickly restored. Next to the view is the Randeck Tower, bridges - old and dragon-like - new, nature, caves, for lovers of Celtic antiquity and runes - park, settlements - early last millennium. I think it's interesting there and in winter.

The guesthouse Felsenwastlwirt is attached to a guesthouse of the same name. The guesthouse Felsenwastlwirt is located in front of a steep rock wall in the cozy town of Essing. Parking options exist in front of the guesthouse/guesthouse or on the church front a few meters away. Our balconyless room was very spacious. There were TVs and seating facilities, but no refrigerator. The bathroom equipped with shower was large. Everything was clean and relatively new. The only way to reach the entrance were the bus stops. Driving to the church halls every 15 minutes is not a few years.
