In fact, we were very disappointed in being known as a good place to stay. In the Goose Age, it's almost like you order goose. As a hobby cook, you obviously have certain expectations about quality in a house like this. Unfortunately, we were totally disappointed in this. Each of us got half a chest with 3 buns and red herbs served as well. The grower followed the meat on foot because the meat was like juicing, without taste and totally dry. We both couldn't eat our plate. As a demanding cook/cooker, you should know that a heated goose breast (without the first two) was obviously too much to eat at high temperature and this is now going to be deadly with this second time around, and this is going to be deadly.

For decades we have been celebrating our festivities at the Gasthaus Post in Uterafferbach. The food and service are excellent every time. Nowhere else do you get a better hunting cut than here. It is used exclusively with fresh ingredients, the service is not overwhelmed even with large companies and always remains friendly. The menu has a medium choice, is always adapted to the season. Regularly the guest is surprised by a few highlights on the map. Outstanding quality, unique in the surrounding Aschaffen.

This is an extraordinary restaurant.

A very nice traditional-style inn. Friendly staff, delicious food and a good and wide selection of different beers. Prices are cheap, meat is still of good quality. There are also many small things in advance or for the little hungry. We like to come here.

Curious and friendly

This a very nice and homely hotel , solidly built as you would expect in Germany . Staff friendly . It would have been good to have used the restaurant for an evening meal , unfortunately it is closed on a Tuesday the day we stayed . Never mind as the breakfast was good and Goldbach is only 3 Kim's away.

This is a very nice and cozy hotel, built solidly as you would expect in Germany. The staff were friendly. It would have been nice if we could have dinner at the restaurant, but unfortunately it was closed on the Tuesday we were there. But it's not bad, because the breakfast was good and Goldbach is only three kilometers away.

A cozy hotel

The staff is very friendly, the bed is on top and the breakfasts are very pleasant, but there is a problem with the sound insulation of the hallway and the wifi does not work in the rooms.

Good for a night or two.

My birthday was celebrated with 50 people in this cozy guesthouse in a large, spacious hall. What is special about all meals is that they are not only prepared fresh, but they are sourced from local businesses, which is all to be read on the menu exactly. So we enjoyed a wonderful buffet and were greeted by the attentive staff around us with drinks and refreshing food. The hotel room and breakfast buffet left no wishes.

Quiet, cozy, clean rooms and excellent food

This is a traditional German Restaurant with meals from Bavaria. It is in the town of Goldbach/Unterafferbach and is deep in the valley. The food is outstanding and the menu is unbelievable. You are tempted to return everyday just to try each item. They have a very good selection of beverages (Beer, Wine, etc, etc) The restaurant is visited almost daily by the locals and is well known in the outer circle. Folks do come here on the weekends for the nice drive and have an excellent meal and then just taking a stroll within the town-bring your walking shoes! As I stated, it sits in the valley, so everything is up and down, up and down. Your mobile phones will not work while you are in the valley, then again; the area is very beautiful during the spring and summer seasons that you would not want to be disturb. There is a Bier Garden and there is a hotel as well, but I have not stayed in the hotel. I have been told it is an outstanding hotel to stay if you want to visit the main cities of Aschaffenburg or Wurzburg but want to stay in a small town/village atmosphere.
