Let's start with the positive, it was clean. The hotel is away from the fire, there are no parking spaces in the area, and it shows the charm of a youth hostel from the '60s. The TV reception was bad. The breakfast was absolutely disastrous. Bone-dried upback buns with the cheapest cut in a small selection were supplemented by thin fruit juice and bad coffee. All this would be tolerable if the accommodation were affordable. But a two-night stay in a single-bed room for over 130 euros is a shame.

Never again

Check-in went smoothly, the reception was very nice. I had a small single room, but it was perfectly enough. It was actually everything you needed. Table, chair, TV, safe, closet, trunk, dress hooks, and it was clean. The bathroom was a little small, but for me it wasn't a problem. All that bothered me was that the room was bright. You heard when people were talking in the hallway or outside, there was often something going on.

Great location, good hotel

The Elbbrücken Hotel is well connected in Hamburg. Bus line 3 is practically right around the corner. The hotel itself looks like it stayed in the 70s. Everything is very simple and rustic. So you had to rub your eyes at the number of stars on arrival. The hotel door still has the indication that due to Corona the room is cleaned only on selected days. The reception was friendly and the room clean. But even for a business trip I would not book it again in any case. Price/performance does not fit at all. In fact: Old Hotel in good condition - but much too expensive for the summoned money!

Good condition - bad condition

All in all, I was very satisfied. At this price point, the Elbbrücken Hotel was by no means hiding from others. The room was not too big, but the single rooms were small everywhere. It was enough. Checking in was easy, checking out was also easy, the service was super friendly. Including the fact that you would like to park in the hotel garage, but you don't have to, because there are always enough parking spaces around. It's not self-evident. The elevator is very small. The room is very well equipped, bed, closet, storage space, flat TV, bathroom, that's all right. What impressed me a lot: the cleanliness, lightning, no lights, no sleeping bags, that's often around. Unfortunately, there's no alternative to air conditioning. Unfortunately, there's no alternative to sleeping.

Price-performance high

We booked 2 single rooms. When we arrived at the reception, the lady was very kind and polite and explained that, because of Covid-19, there would be no breakfast. The stable is dated it would need some tweaking. Very small room (a single) but clean. Bathroom with shower and sink but without bidet, furnished with everything.

Simple and clean

Very nice little hotel. Good connection to the city centre perfect for a short trip. Too bad there was no breakfast offered, but there are several options nearby.

Holidays

What can you do about it? The situation is not so bad if you know the stations. Four stations to the main station. There was no breakfast when we asked in the morning. This should have been said the day before. But why does nobody ask when handing over the keys? Not very suitable for delicate resting sleepers.

Just for sleeping OK

Hotels in Hambourg are very expensive! I consider myself to be lucky to find this gem. Excellent value for money! Neat and clean and comfortable. 
Great location not far from the center near to the bus stop that connects to the main railway station. A lot of food shops and food options around. Quiet location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room, all refurbished.

Great value for money! Clean and comfy!

The rooms are quite small, sticky and simple set up, so rather standard than three stars, but clean. Not a single smoke alarm in the rooms despite the smoke alarm requirement for hotels from 60 beds in Hamburg. (40 rooms = 12 single rooms, 28 double, 8 triple beds = 92 beds). Cleaning staff is friendly, reception is relatively unfriendly and seemingly incompetent to look for information from the computer system. I should pay 10€ for the second key card for a double room that was booked with two people, as I wanted to pay with this card were also 7€ in cash (??!).

The hotel is a mid-range hotel offering proper amenities and comfortable rooms. It is located on the outskirts of the city of Hamburg. Our choice was made for this establishment due to an attractive price-quality ratio. There is nothing to say about the rooms, clean and furnished. The bed is comfortable, we were able to sleep and rest as we should. Breakfast is very good, while staying in what is offered in the mid-range. Our room was located on the fifth floor. If you book, please join the floor of the street, which gives directly. We have this building, we wanted to lose a bit of interest: however, the price to get to the hotel. The geographical situation to the city centre. I would like to explain the fact that the evacuation of this hotel is not far enough (5 km) from the centre of the city, which led us to the most convenient location (the hotel and the main bus service) and the hotel.
