This descent cannot be called a hotel. Each hostel is better equipped. We had booked a three-bedroom with three women. We couldn't talk about cheap for 199 euros a night. We had settled on a simple setup because of the pictures, but we didn't expect broken furniture or old furnishings. In the three-bedroom there was still a fourth bed, so there was no closet to use or any way to move around in the room. The room and bathroom were relatively clean, but the curtains were from the last century and completely torn apart. Two of the beds had completely ruptured bed sheets and broken latins on the mattresses. Unfortunately, we only noticed this late replacement and we preferred not to go back to the next one at night.

Never again!

But, it was perfectly fine for a Stag do or a lads weekend away. Yes, it was a bit grubby in places (our shower head wouldn't stand upright so it had to be taken off the bracket to work; the toilet seat moved when you sat on it), but these aren't things that you look for when you're simply using the room as a place to sleep.

We had a triple room but only two of us (would have been quite a squash with three), and towels were provided (appeared clean, though I didnt inspect them at any great length). Bed was clean, and to be honest the mattress was lovely. It did get quite warm in the room (no air-con), so you had to open up the massive window...and it opened up fully, so if you prone to sleep-walking then be careful as you may just thrown yourself out of it. With the window open the room cooled down, but there was quite a bit of noise at you're on the Reeperbahn...and the bloody bin lorry came and took away all the bottles at around 5am!

For the price that was paid, and we booked it on the day we arrived, it worked out at total of £220 (£110 each for three nights, or with three people it would have been £70 each for three nights). Cant really complain at that price as you know what you're going to get.

And great location too. Right on the Reeperbahn, with a number of very busy bars right by the hotel (and not far from the ladies of the night as well).

Would stay there again with the lads/on a Stag Do, but I don't think my Mrs would be happy.

Not one for a romantic weekend away.....

What a superb place 10/10. The phantom receptionist was always very helpful. Junkies outside smoking crack and we left our door open all weekend and nothing was stolen. Would definately come back with the wife and the wains.

What an excellent hotel

The reception is unfriendly, the stairs are dirty. Not so bad. The price is not right at all. The hotel is in the centre.

The dirtiest hotel in Hamburg

I picked the hotel because the price was unbeatable. For one night you can do it because the location is super central. The hotel has been living a little longer and you can see that too. It was clean at first glance, towels and hand soap were available. Unfortunately we had bad luck and a room to the street ok you can close the windows. There was free Wi-Fi. The TV didn't work, we didn't sign up, because we were just going to sleep. I was on the road with my son (10 years) as a backpack tourist and we only had a big city like HH and then on the Reeperbahn with everything. Don't hang out with other guests at night (out door with keys!) in your room and get booked to other Zwift, and if you want to sleep at night, let the room be as optimal as possible.

You should know where to stay!!

Pros: Welcome staff. Close to metro stations and electricity stations. 10 minutes to the metro center. Cheap. Minus: My room with my own bathroom was very (!!!) dirty. I found dirt everywhere: on the mirror, on the bumpers, on the clothes hanger, on the desk, and even inside the toilet button (when you press it). And there was a web in one corner. But it's not the scariest. The scariest thing is Reeperbahn Street, where this hotel is located. It's full of brothels, sex shops with the right advertising and prices. For those who aren't used to it, it's a shock. Read the rest of the area.

I've never seen anything worse in my life.

Hotel difficult to judge... For me well located (St. Pauli)... clean in what you can see... what you can't see better not seen: under the bed... behind the couch... the basses... My wife's opinion I reserve... For my ten-year-old son, having wifi, everything is fine... Summing up: the TV didn't work (notice the reception but don't fix it)... They don't even clean the room... Yes, the lazas are very clean and you can sleep in a comfortable room. Hotel to sleep, not to be in the room. The only receptionist I saw during my two days of stay was very nice and friendly.

When we first arrived at the hotel, there were two homeless people spark out face down right in front of the front door. First impressions weren't good, as soon as we walked in the building it reminded me of An Idiot Abroad, I thought Ricky Gervais had booked the hotel for us because it was like somewhere he would send Karl Pilkington! It was more like a hostel than than a hotel, it was very dated and it looked like it hadn't been done up since the 60s!

The person on reception was very pleasant and polite, but that was probably the only decent thing about this hotel. The room was not nice at all. It was dirty, the sheets had stains on them and didn't look to have been cleaned properly for a long time. The shower barely worked and was also dirty. We also didn't have any clean towels at all during out stay, we had to use the same one for three days in a row. The sheets weren't change at all either.

The location is the best thing about this hotel as it is right in the heart of the Reeperbahn and the train/underground stations are very close by. You can get the train directly from the airport to the Reeperbahn and it takes less than five minutes to walk to the hotel from the station.

If you are looking for a cheap hotel in a good location and have no standards, then this is for  you. If you prefer a hotel that provides fresh towels, sheets that aren't covered in other people's bodily fluids, and is clean then I suggest paying a few more Euros elsewhere. You really do get what you pay for. To say that this hotel is basic is an understatement. Some people don't mind that and will sleep anywhere as long as it's cheap. I personally would never go back.

Not good at all

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel. We couldn't last another one. Of course you always have to see everything in proportion. We paid 155€ for 2 nights and 3 people. That's 25€ per person per night. That's not to be expected so much. Also, that it's loud at night should be clear beforehand if you book a hotel directly on the Reeperbahn, where the homeless person puts the door open at night. I can expect, however, that at least all things should be sucked properly and every dust is taken out. That was not the case. Once the beds move and the dirt came out. The driver's cabin had a 1cm thick water capsule above the bed, like no other thing else. Unfortunately, I also had 25€ to wait for the police to open the door for a few nights in the hotel, but I'm sure that it was not even a few nights at the time, and I'm not sure that it was possible to open the door again.
