Reasonable accommodation just outside Heidelberg, Germany.
We stayed in Studio 8 which is a large room with 4 beds, a kitchen and dining area, and a small bathroom with toilet and shower. We had a fridge and cooking facilities. Poorly lit at night and so felt a bit gloomy. Can get the bus from right outside the hotel to Heidelberg which is only 7 miles away, easier than driving into Heidelberg and finding car parking. Reasonably priced at £112 per night in the summer holiday.

It's a spacious, clean and newly renovated room in the furnishings (except for the kitchen and bathroom that are dated). You get to the city center in 10 minutes by car. Alternatively right in front there is the bus stop. Neither on the booking conditions page, nor in the confirmation received via email was marked the cost of the mandatory final cleaning. When we were asked for the unexpected supplement, the kind gentleman who welcomed us called the owner to have us talk directly with him, but these turned out to be a bit rude.

Okay, but not correct.

Very nice and clean holiday apartment. The rooms are equipped with a nice little kitchen. Especially cheap and good. Great quiet location and optimal bus connections right in front of the house.

Girls weekend

We spent two wonderful nights in this well appointed studio apartment. Everything you needed was at hand. Unfortunately due to travel our wires got crossed with the owners as far as Sunday check in time goes. They were kind enough to let us in early and gave us helpful hints as to where to have dinner and where to park to visit within Heidelberg. It was also too cold and damp to properly use the lovely balcony. Parking was exta but the mechanism used for the designated parking spot was easy to use and safe. An outdoor sitting area is probably great during the warmer weather. All in all, this was a great stay and should we return to Heidelberg, we would not hesitate to book Zum Lowen!

Excellent location

This restaurant is set in a tavern. It's very cozy and pleasant. It eats typical food. The price is reasonable. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. It's the kind of restaurant where locals eat dinner on Saturday nights.

Hidden

It is a good location for those who love solitude and unity with nature (a fox and a deer have often been spotted sitting on the veranda of apartments on the nearby slopes of mountains).

Apartments in the mountains

Great hotel with very reasonable prices. We rented a few rooms as there were 12 people. All rooms were great equipped, clean and cosy. Great terrace. The hotel is on the bus stop. Very good owners- nice helpful people. I highly recommend this hotel

Great cosy family hotel

Good and economical solution outside the center of Heidelberg, clean and convenient for excursions to the Nibelung area. The road, even though we are outside the center, is very busy and therefore also a bit chaotic.

This is the first of a series of reports.

Wonderful located hotel in Peterstal near Heidelberg. Rooms of 5 person apartment are pretty small for 5 persons, but for some nights it is OK. Small kitchen which enables to cook some food. Nice terrace. However located right to Landesstrasse which is very noisy at day, in the evening and morning. No airconditioning so very warm in summer. Near to Bus and City Center, parking of car is quite a topic.
