The hotel offers many walks, the hotel is clean and tidy, the staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and custom-designed, and the accommodation was good.

Quiet hotel

Arrived early at this hotel and had the chance to sit out in the garden, sample a few beers and had dinner on the terrace, rooms were modern and well furnished, clean, comfy bed, good shower, quiet. breakfast was very nice and plenty of choice.
locked yard to store our motorcycle, so all in all a perfect stay with great friendly hosts.

Lovely clean hotel

This hotel is in a secluded location in a small village in Thuringia, on the edge of the woods. Obviously very quiet and quiet, large rooms and good breakfast, as always in Germany.

Characteristic accommodation in a good location

Super friendly, attentive staff; clean and tidy; groundbreaking breakfast, excellent regional cuisine, both traditional and modern  Eating from the hot stone is a must! Make sure to enjoy massages and experience nature! We'll definitely be back and stay longer!

Wonderful time off

If you're looking for a good and quiet hotel, you're right in Kellerberg. The first impression from the outside was, well, yes, where I am here. But everything inside was great. I think the outside area is still being renovated. The reception was very nice and the room was top. Very large (comfort room) clean and everything new. Also the restaurant with service is highly recommended. Very good German cuisine and attentive service. Also the breakfast buffet was good, everything you need was there. It's in the hall and you get lost something. Here maybe the restaurant would be better suited for a few guests. We're definitely coming back and have already booked.

Good and very quiet

Gas Restaurant at Kellerberg I'm in a beautiful forested area on the junction road between Neustadt and Stadtroda. The opening hours are top. You get everything from breakfast to dinner. There are cozy dining rooms and a very nice outdoor terrace. Every now and then we meet here for dinner with friends. The menu is extensive. There's too much. The quality of the food suffers. Many convenience products. We ordered steaks the last time. These were a little bit of snack, the side dishes, the croquettes and the seasonal fish. Excellent, fresh, recently renovated countryside hotel. In near reach of the Autobahn, but enough away in pastoral surroundings. 
We had a family room, junior suite. 4 beds, comfortable spacious and nice. Free Wifi with code. 
Dinner in the evening was really good, fresh Pfifferlingen, jummy. Nice local wines. 
Very helpful and forthcoming staff. 

Overnight stop

Because of the fresh, grass-free forel, we were recommended for the hotel restaurant. Although we live on the coast and prefer the freshest fish of the Baltic Sea, we were not disappointed. The forel was very good, as were the sponge hacks. We were treated kindly in the uninhabited room.

A nice hotel restaurant in rural Thuringia

We stayed here with a larger group for one night. The reservation worked very well and even the booking of a room went smoothly. Although the hotel is a little out of the way in the Pampa, it is worth planning a night here. Unfortunately, it is right on the driveway. Depending on the room, traffic is more or less loud. Otherwise, everything has suited. The rooms are large enough and clean enough. There was nothing to complain about from our group. If you want to eat at the hotel for dinner, you should also book this, the hotel is quite well visited and there is no room. Otherwise, the alternatives for dinner in the area are quite limited and without a car can be booked.

Good and cheap

I can only write about the restaurant with this post, not about the hotel. Actually, we were very satisfied with the quality of the food and the kindness of the staff on our previous visit. Except for our last visit. We wanted to visit the restaurant about four weeks ago on a Sunday at about 1 p.m. The restaurant was open on Sundays. There were 9 cars and 2 motorcycles in the parking lot, so there was actually still enough room, especially since the motorcyclists had to miss us, so we were already done. A visited sign at the entrance with Happily Willing was just a little bit of an appetizer that greeted us and didn't answer our question for a couple of people, but they had already asked themselves, and then they would have given themselves a chance to have a free lunch.
