We were here with friends, an extended weekend, the bungalows are very nicely decorated, you can make tea or coffee, the breakfast is varied and the owner is very nice. Small problems with the heating were immediately resolved, we were happy to accept the offer of borrowing a grill. From here you can take wonderful walks. We were happy to come around and happy to come back.

A very relaxing short vacation

For an extended weekend, we rented several bungalows. They were all clean, well equipped and even heated. We spontaneously decided to accept the daily offer in the evening and were pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of the food. There were also tasty alternatives for vegetarians. When you come home exhausted in the evening from hiking, it is very pleasant to eat well at the fireplace. The breakfast buffet was also ample and delicious. We will come back occasionally. Thank you very much for the nice weekend.

Satisfied all around

The rooms, which are bungalow-style, are beautifully quietly situated on the forest edge over the Manebach village near Ilmenau. It is about 10-15 minutes by car to the center. They are convenient, spacious, very bright and very clean. We were only there for 2 nights. But there is also enough room for a week or two. The breakfast was very good, the owner was very nice and the car can be parked on the grounds. We were happy all around. You can also sit on the lawn in front of the bungalow. We can recommend the boarding house without restriction and when we come back to this area, we will stay there again. Thank you very much to the team!

We enjoyed our stay here very much! The location is super nice and you can walk right out the front door. The owner of the house was very friendly and there was a cozy and friendly atmosphere. We were most impressed by the cook who charmed us with a delicious dinner as we wished. Since we are vegetarians, we also enjoyed cooking it without meat. We can recommend it to everyone!

Comfortable pension with personal connection and great location

The price ratio is high. Very nicely furnished rooms. At the breakfast buffet there is a Dutch corner. Very quiet with a beautiful view. We had a lot of snow and felt like in fairyland. On the edge of the forest look at the row in the room in the morning. It's nice to be booked again.

Good and kind!

Very pleasant accommodation, for a guesthouse, absolutely top price... all rooms renovated and furnished... quiet location and perfectly suited to start hiking tours... host and staff very hospitable and always friendly.

Four out of four possible stars!

I had two friends and we celebrated our 50th birthday with about 40 other people, and everything was fine: Buffet was great, very good service, delicious breakfast, and short walks because everyone could sleep on the spot. We're thinking about meeting there once a year now.

Birthday party for three

In the middle of Thuringia is this boarding house. We stayed there for a week. The accommodation was new and clean. Animal-friendliness is very well written. We felt very comfortable there. Breakfast was good and rustic. We always got a tip for business. Thank you very much. We come back...

Vacation at the edge of the forest

It's a beautifully located boarding house for a short vacation. It's a good starting point for further business. You can use buses and trains for free in the area. We had a renovated bungalow and were very satisfied.

Have a nice vacation, all right.

Accommodation in one of 6 holiday bungalows (free with two halves each with two rooms, kitchen including refrigerator and toilet with shower) with common entrance. Seating facilities in front of the bungalow, very luxurious and good breakfast and dinner (optional also grill option is offered). Very nice and helpful host. Price-performance topp, although the facilities are a little older than us very simple.
