The hotel is centrally located in the city, you can get to most of the things to do in Iserlohn on foot. Unfortunately, there are no parking spaces of your own, but there is a large parking space opposite, which is also affordable. Everything is very clean and well maintained, large room, breakfast is fine and the staff is nice. Wlan was at least a little poor in our room, so you should work on it.

It's a good city hotel.

The hotel is located in the heart of the city of Iserlohn. Upon arrival, the check in process took only 3 minutes. Although the room was a bit small, yet it was beautiful, well organized and had all what we needed, The breakfast restaurant was very good.

Very good Hotel with comfortable stay

Very well located hotel, close to the city centre and shops. All the rooms have been renovated and cleaned. Good internet access. A few parking spaces just in front. Friendly and hospitable staff.

I booked a double room at the Hotel Engelbert for private use. I estimate the price-performance ratio to be just fine. The room was large enough and also very clean. The equipment was modern and convenient and you could spend quite a long time here, there is enough storage space and cabinets. What I didn't like so much was the narrow mini-lift, the relative brightness and that there was no bar etc. The large refrigerator next to the reception contained a total of 5 drinks bottles. If you like to self-serve, you'll be well taken care of here. The quiet and pedestrian location is a safe point to the inner city. Still, one indication to the city is that you can't leave Navi by car, plus from the train station.

City Neighborhood Modern Hotel

The hotel is very easily accessible from the railway station, the facilities are modern and modern, the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fine, the breakfast lady is very friendly and hardworking here too. Overall, it is highly recommended, I would like to return!

Cozy, friendly, centered

This hotel is right in the center of town, with walking areas all around. Our room was well maintained and comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Paid parking is across the street. And there is a very nice place for breakfast and coffee directly next door (so we skipped the hotel breakfast while staying here). 

Well-appointed rooms, nice staff and centrally located

I've found this hotel a good place, clean and comfortable, good breakfast, what I think puts this hotel at the top of the list of preferences is its location, which allows you to get to the historic center without having to use the car.

Great location for a walk downtown.

This is a small hotel in the city of Iserlohn.  The rooms are basic with en suite bathrooms with showers. Their down pillows are not dense. Full satellite TV.   There is no late check-in; no one is at the desk.  Lights in the hallways get triggered by the motion of people.  There is a tiny elevator for luggage.   In a major city, I would be concerned about safety but in Iserlohn, it is not an issue. Breakfast is fantastic -- a buffet of various types of wurst and schenken (ham) along with cheeses and yogurts.   The hotel is right in the city.  You'll find that the  Hotel staff speaks little if any English.  Bring your English/German dictionary.

Lovely family-run Inn

The hotel is very easy to reach from the train station. The lady at the reception was friendly. On the way to the room the first big flaw...I've never seen such a small elevator...a person with a suitcase and then it's full. The rooms were clean, but here too you have to make an urgent improvement. The TV is so badly on the right side of the bed that you can only watch TV from the bed. The bathroom has come in years and needs to be renovated. The breakfast was okay, it was small, but you noticed that the lady was working hard here. I wouldn't book the hotel anymore.

Not recommended

My cousin tried to book by mail, but he didn't get confirmation. Then I tried to check the weekend by phone to find out what the booking was. But I couldn't. There was either a error in the phone system or the occupant. When I asked in person, the booking hadn't arrived. Okay, quite a lot of coincidences, but what's up, I thought. So I asked again for the exact date to book by phone. That worked out as far as it seemed, and I asked for an email confirmation. Unfortunately, I still didn't get it almost a week later. So I have to ask myself if anyone is interested in booking at all.
