Typical Bavarian restaurant, nice traditional decoration and service.
Land lady standing up and coordinating the proper flow of the  activity.
Menu focused, but quality very normal.
They haven't changed table cloth between shifts, service not sophisticated.
Mainly aged local customers 

Traditional local food served, good beer, few deserts to choose.
No English menu.

The room is old and worn out, the equipment is Spartan, no fridge, no garbage can in the room, only an hour in the bathroom. The breakfast buffet is satisfactory, the inn is very quiet. I wanted to go to the house's spa one night, unfortunately I was at a closed door. I have to check it out a few times.

Hostel in Ismaning

The room really isn't particularly appealing. You tried to put modern accents in renovated conditions. For one night and then never again. Dinner in the sink was unexpectedly good. The staff are very courteous and polite.

Well, I'm not.

We regularly travel to Munich for business and always go to this hotel and are very satisfied every time. The room is flawless, clean and also big enough for us. The restaurant is looking for its peers. Great food and always great service. We can only warmly recommend this.

Great hotel, great food, great service!

Rooms in the main house are ok and seemingly freshly renovated, but this room went out to the main thoroughfare. Extremely loud when the bus passes through the windows vibrate. I asked for a quieter room and got one in development. These rooms don't go at all!! Totally inhabited and coming into the years, the whole house smelled of cigarette smoke and muffiness. Can't recommend the hotel in any case, never 4 star category ((((The food in the inn was quite ok, at least the staff were attentive and effortful.

It's all right and neat.

It's an absolute disaster! You can't take a shower because there's a bathtub in the ceiling. Everything is antique. The bed and the room are tiny. I've never seen anything like this. The hotel photos have nothing to do with reality.

You're not making sense.

With investment this place could be very good however it is a bit of a Spartan place to stay. Rooms are very basic- think value chain motels in US or UK roadside. not kept up to date with modern times. bed was not great and on a cold night not enough heating or spare blankets to hand.

It had a good breakfast and the staff were perfectly amiable.

Dinner in the wood panelled restaurant was very good.

A bit of an ordinary experience

Twinned with the nearby Hotel am Schlosspark, and offering room itself, the Neuwirt has a lovely restaurant open to non-residents. We had traditional food served in a lovely wood-panelled room, very cosy and traditional. The choice was mainly traditional German: I had duck with jam and potatoes and it was lovely. Good choice of Austrain and German wines as well, plus of course all the beers you can imagine.

I was travelling on business and only staying two nights so really didn't spend much time there. The hotel generally was fine. Breakfast was good, public spaces pleasant and the staff helpful. I arrived late due to a delayed flight and the kitchen was closed but the receptionist was sympathetic and made me a sandwich to go with my excellent beer. 
The room was quite spacious but was in the roof so the bath/shower/toilet were awkward due to the sloping roof. No shower curtain for the same reason so the water from the handheld shower went everywhere. The single bed was very hard.

Good for a short stay

The food and drinks are nothing special, but what is unacceptable is the rude behavior of the staff. Except for the endless waiting times, first they brought us more beers than we had ordered, even lying to us when we made it known. Then when we asked for separate accounts, they agreed, but they did not. After revealing the payment, they took the receipt and HANNO GETTED. When we protested asking for another one, they pulled it out of the vault and delivered it to us. Never before have they encountered such rude and uncivilized behavior.
