The forest house offers not only a main house, as there is also a restaurant, but also a few separate wooden houses for overnight stays. These houses are equipped with everything you need to spend a few nice days. In the main house you can have the added breakfast, or prepare it in the well-equipped kitchens of the holiday homes yourself. There is a playground, a barbecue area and surrounding nature. The staff is very friendly and helpful and it was not the last time we visited this place.

We were in the hotel across the street and wanted to eat and drink a little. We ordered cake and burgers. Friends ordered a golden soup. The soup was strong, deliciously hot. The beer was splendidly sipped, which surprised us very positively. Bitburgers are not offered so well everywhere. The praise for this was welcomed by the young man behind the counter. He has only been working there for a few weeks - hat off!

We had lunch in the outdoor area on a hike on the Rhine hill here, my frame cut with potatoes was satisfactory, above all because I don't like paned cut with sauce; but this seems to be common in the area. My wife had pork medallions with roast (o.e.), this was very good. Wine and beer were fine. Price performance was also good.

Satisfying to good!

Located on the slopes of Lahnstein. Dreamy view of the Rhine valley. There are some guesthouses in wood-frame. Equipped with everything you need. Beds were packed and towels were ready. Small kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living room with sofa and terrace. In the main house there is a very good restaurant with floor-standing kitchen. The food is excellent, here is cooked with love. During the day there is also coffee and cake. The breakfast is offered as a buffet and can be booked on request.

Relaxation is pure.

We were eating with 4 adults and 2 children on a Sunday night in the forest house. Our visit to this inn was the first (but also the last). The facilities were convenient and simple. However, it was too little heated. We ordered 2 x fries with mirrored lead, 2 x chicken nuggets, 1 x pork medallions with croquettes and 1 x red herb with roast and beef roast. It took some time for the service to take our drink order. Exactly that time it took until the drinks came. We had to wait 30 minutes for the food. Another order for drinks took a very long time again. The food was still average, as was the service.

Julius worked so hard, was so kind, and made Woodhouse feel so inviting. The food was plentiful and delicious. We would definitely both come back. And the hotel was awful.

First of all, the forest house has a lot of potential, which unfortunately is not being used. It's beautifully located. It's cozy. Aaaaber: Personal semi-friendly. Wine selection underground. So not to say disastrous. So we found this really bad. Red wine only thornsfields. So it was disgusting. Rosé was not there. And then there's still riesling dry or semi-dry. ?! Since it's actually grown in the area.

Alternative to the hotel... because the bar was closed there.

So first of all, I'm excited about how the Corona cleaning is handled. Perfect!!! But then the orders came: the rosé wine became a red wine and the non-alcoholic wheat became an alcoholic wine. Bad. The cut was good. The gypsy sausage wasn't bad. The green salad was already brown. And there were a lot of fillers on the plate. But it belongs to the cut. The price is fair. Then the price came. Of course, the wine was charged for the one that was converted to water in the meantime. If you let the staff get a little help, the forest house is recommended.

Correct cleanliness in the corona crisis but the orders, well

Spontaneous visits, Saturday evening, we were given a table for 11 people. Everyone was satisfied with the food. The service was fast and attentive, the salad buffet fresh and the prices moderate.

Good citizenship

It's a very nice restaurant with an affordable menu. Unfortunately, food and service are only per mile. Prices are fine.
