We stayed here on a walking tour. The reception was very friendly, even the next evening the hostess was friendly and hospitable. Rooms: The rooms in the annex were large, clean and decorated appropriately. Overall, the interior is old, but the only modern thing is a relatively small flat-screen TV. The bath is tiny, the shower and the toilet fill the room almost completely. The sink is in the room. We also ate more dinner at home - okay, but not at all. The portion of the toast was sour, which was meat for my taste. The fries were not good, but the meat grew out of salad and a couple of gourmets were in the open garden.

Nice service, rest well.

We were at Leyscher Hof with three people for dinner. We can't confirm that the hostess should be the nicest and kindest. The food was nothing special either. The fish was too dry, the salted potatoes were partly white and glazed (even from the day before and warm again), the salad sauce too acidic. We complained about the glazed potatoes and were more or less squeezed for it. So much about the subject nice and friendly. Leyscher Hof will never again!

I've eaten better already!

Nice hotel right by the Rhine with ancient charm. Unfortunately our room was in very bad condition. Tires in the bathroom were broken, shower hanger in the bathroom as a shower (I find it disgusting), cut room doors, loose door handle in the bathroom causes noise when you have to leave at night, which wakes the partner up. I didn't find the beds intoxicating. The interior of the room is totally obsolete. Simply glazing the windows, which made it hard for me to sleep, because you can hear every ship very loudly. If you want the charm of the bathroom, it is recommended to get a second barrier that is very good and rich. Breakfast is very good and rich. Gastronomy is beautifully furnished.

Appearance and being

Not knowing where I was going, this hotel was immediately pleasant when I saw the hotel lying so directly on the Rhine. Yes, I thought I could stay here for a few days. The hostess Carla has also made it very prosperous for me. I can only say it bites to the next. Please come back.

A Surprise

Madame Maur-Tencic is definitely the nicest hostess from the Rhine-Mediterranean. The Leyscher Hof is very lovingly decorated and enchanted with its charm. The surrounding Rhine garden is breathtaking and the food is super delicious at a great price-performance ratio!!! The cakes at the neighboring table have been running water in our mouths, but unfortunately after the super lunch nothing went in anymore. We definitely come back! Thank you for the great time!!!

Absolutely perfect!

A nice hotel/restaurant right on the Rhine river, with a stunning view & unique garden restaurant. Perfect setting for a summer evening, to enjoy a glass of Rhine wine & a meal, while overlooking the valley & river, while ships go by.
Also a beautiful village front & pedestrian zone along the length of the town, and connected to the bicycle path which goes along the Rhine. Leutesdorf is well worth the visit.

Gem on the Rhine River

We have visited the Leyscher Hof Hotel several times as part of a bicycle tour. It is truly a wonderful place. The view of the Rhine is incomparable. In addition to an extensive menu, there are excellent wines from the region. The service is warm and friendly. Very recommended especially in good weather.

A lovely beer garden

We never actually stayed in the hotel, but used the beer garden and dining facilities. The place was recommended by a local couple. The views are tremendous, straight over the Rhine to the town of Andernach with passing boats, ducks etc. The beer garden is very popular and was well frequented during our visit by locals and tourists. Each night we watched delicious food being served whilst we drank our excellent locally produced wine...beautifully chilled and at a remarkable price for us - €11 a litre! The food we tried,a standard German menu, was in very generous portions and equally delicious (there is an option to order a smaller portion at a lower price, which I did, but there was still more than enough)
I am full of praise for the staff,who, apart from knowing our requirements after just one visit, went out of their way to help us. We suffered a broken bike lock and they searched the hotel for pliers, thus saving us a two mile walk carrying bikes.
