...were received by the senior manager, with the indication that he could offer us an even better room in the back. Price increase of €1.00 (one). Since we had fought off something from the bike tour, we promised without prior visitation. Unfortunately! We had a room with Gelsenkirchen Baroque, decorated carpet floors, tight bathroom, etc.

Charm with peasant slurry

What do you expect from a romantic hotel? It's up to each person to decide. In any case, the rooms in the neighborhood building are converted garages, that's what it really feels like. Beds and furnishings are old, somewhat neat and narrow. Breakfast is acceptable. Where these stars and prices come from is probably in the stars.

You're in the '60s?

The reception is somewhat unwieldy, but friendly. The bathroom is not very clean, the heating is not cleaned for a long time. The rooms are still damp, damaged. The mattresses are flat, bad. Breakfast without room is 10€, for baked bread, nothing special in sausage and cheese is too expensive. Parking is available, extremely narrow, 3 guests can accommodate, 2 more places are reserved privately.

Assessment

Arriving after 9pm seems to be a century's event. So is a clean room. The furnishings are nostalgic, seem more muffled to me. Everything gets wet in the shower, except the person standing inside. Washbasins with hair from the previous one and defective drainage. Breakfast: well.

From yesterday and taste

Mr. Zimmermann, a very dedicated elderly gentleman, organized a restaurant for the little hungry when we arrived after 10:00 p.m. and was also ready to serve us a good breakfast at breakfast. The hotel and rooms are lovingly decorated, with old / on old trimmed furniture and oil paintings. Unfortunately, the beds have gotten into the years a bit, so that from my point of view you would always find yourself in the middle with a bent back in the soft bed.

A fine little Garni hotel with a very friendly and helpful operator with flaws

Great, very personal hotel with style. rooms you can choose if it's not especially the main season. The beds are very comfortable, all the rooms have roller coasters, which is practically good for a good sleep. Parking is easy on the street (possibly side street). Breakfast is prepared individually for the guest, so very chic and extremely practical in the morning (no snorkeling at the buffet). Extra requirements are also met decently. All in all, so five stars... P.S. Yes, Old Town and Dom are within walking distance... Ah!

A nice, personal hotel with style

Staying in Limburg shortly isn't easy. This hotel told me spontaneously because of the photos. I was eager to try it out. We were on the road on the bike and I called shortly there to inform us of our delay. Then we were very friendlyly received and checked in after the opening hours of the reception. We got rooms in the adjoining building where we could park the bikes in a closed courtyard right in front of our door. The rooms were lovingly decorated with antiques. The personally served breakfast was lovingly furnished. A great alternative to a buffet. I can understand that not everyone can serve the ambiance - I liked it very much.

A special hotel with character

Two steps from the train station, 5' walk from the old town. A warm hotel, both equipped and welcoming by its owner. Spacious rooms with old, very German furniture. Old-fashioned bathrooms. Rich, cozy breakfasts and served with a dish worthy of that name by the owner, with little care with his guests. Free parking at the rear of the hotel
