Wonderful, unique, place, in the middle of nowhere. To eat there is a real bonus.. incredible food, something for everyone.. the speciality is fresh trout. Friendly and efficient service. Then comes an even bigger bonus, staying in one of their incredible rooms and enjoying an amazing breakfast 

A total gem

Hermes is always worth a visit - we really like to ride our bicycle here  the place is fantastic  the location in nature looks like nothing  the restaurant with a nice terrace often changes the menu - mostly dishes with local products are offered - great and delicious - about the zipper I can't say because I haven't seen them yet  most guests seem very happy with their choice but thank you and so on

Always worth a visit

Hostel with good dining room and regional, very good food. Wild boar with goat's and great sauce. The house is well run. Medium standard. Good price ratio. We were there for one night. The room is clean with everything you need. The bed was comfortable.

Citizenship, well

We booked Jaueis Country Inn for a week shortly because we wanted to stay in the country because of the Corona pandemic. Everything was fine, the room in the annex was very nice, clean and relatively newly renovated. Very good. The breakfast was delicious, because of Corona there was no buffet, but every night we got a note on the menu where we had a large selection to cross over what we wanted for breakfast. The portions were plentiful and everything was fresh. Until one evening, we also had dinner in the country inn and I have to say, just delicious.

Rest and Good Food

We had a large room on the second floor, a bit difficult to reach by crawling stairs. We were here for several days to visit Kulmbach, Kronach and Coburg. Also, from the house you can take great walks directly. We didn't want a city hotel, but a quiet place in nature, even if then the trips to our visits became a little difficult. And rest (((Night break is also available on hot days) it is in Hermes, as soon as the very quiet beer garden closes. Actually, the ideal place, if not the buzzing of the kitchen in the upper rooms of our house was so obvious. Most of the time, we could hear the guests cheering from the kitchen at about 10pm, but the hotel was a little longer.

Very interesting location in remote nature

Very soon we booked a double room for one night. The room was very clean, the service was particularly friendly, the breakfast for a country inn was particularly good. In the evening the hospitality business was open, offering particularly well prepared food and an extremely great selection of regional beer specialties. This was noticed by us as non-beer drinkers ourselves. The country inn has an invaluable value on particularly old furniture on the corridors. Everything looks very well maintained. The bathroom was modern.

Very good country inn with special tranquility and friendliness

We walked down the Frankenwaldsteig and stayed here for the first night. We were picked up by our son at our - somewhat distant destination - by car and driven to the inn. We were very pleasantly surprised by the size of the property. Very idyllic and generous. After a good cold beer in the rooms. Very traditionally furnished. Bathrooms very well decorated. At night sitting on the terrace and eating very good frankincense. Staff very friendly. You can also recommend breakfast. When I'm nearby again, I'm sure I'll want to stay here again.

A small tree

So, you can't expect the haute cuisine. But for the price/performance ratio, it's very good. We were on a hike and then happened to pass by lunchtime without booking. It wasn't a problem to get a seat on Sunday. The service is friendly. There's something to paint for the kids and the kids get the food quickly and first. Top. The rest has to be done for roasting that should take quite a long time (45 minutes). That was a flaw. It was all good (sour-roasted) and recommended. Otherwise, the facility is rustic, the terrace is beautifully laid out and designed. Hopefully it will continue to be renovated like a newly designed playground for children.

Everything was great here. The food was great anyway. The service was great! We're back! It just voted everything. Beautiful little Sunday card for every taste there was. Unfortunately, the playground is completely in the sun. The beer garden is loving and the inn is beautifully rustic yet modern! a visit is worth it!

It's all right!

Beautiful old estate hidden in the woods with beautiful terrace and very good traditional Frankish food. Left-turned rolls highly recommended, fine asparagus. Friendly nice service. Overall highly recommended.
