Our impression is divided. We want to expressly praise the kindness of the service staff and the very good breakfast. The restaurant described on the homepage has long since ceased to exist, you have to eat out at night. The room (still in the old part of the building) was very simple - it is not a problem, but it is not worth the price.

Breakfast very good, otherwise it doesn't keep its promises, smoke alarms are missing!

We were greeted in the country guesthouse (which unfortunately is no longer a hostel, only on pre-order), the room was wonderful with comfortable beds and balcony, the breakfast was great and the good fairy of the house was very helpful and nice. In the immediate vicinity (about 200m running distance) there is a wonderful restaurant, so that the culinary supply was also guaranteed. In the vicinity there are many beautiful excursion destinations, so we had a short vacation that did not reveal wishes!

A comfortable boarding house in a beautiful setting

We had booked two double rooms about 10 months in advance. Shortly before arriving, we were told that the hotel was overbooked (although we had confirmed the booking 10 months earlier). We were offered a holiday apartment as an alternative. We thought and if the conditions and price stayed the same, that's fine. But on arrival we quickly realized that this was not the case. The apartment was only part of an otherwise occupied apartment. The rooms were small and uncomfortable, the shower was moulded and there were personal belongings of the owner everywhere. The height was that during our stay 3x a stranger would enter the apartment. Our complaint was not received and a price reduction was also not taken.

Never again!

If you were to settle down in a wonderful area in a great establishment with a very dedicated housekeeper, you'd be perfectly placed here.

A Feeling of Enthusiasm

On arrival at this wonderful looking guesthouse you will meet the lady owner. She is very hyper, she loves getting the registration form filled out, and it must be done perfectly, or must be corrected. The lady then explained about getting in and out at night and showed the room etc. The lady then retired for the evening, and I didn't see her again, nice lady, just liked things to done right, this is reflected in the whole guesthouse. The rooms are spotless, and well appointed. Everything is new, everything practical, that's a cool place she has in that village! I loved the electric window blinds, the quality towels, the shower that not only sprays down the way, but it's got sideways shower heads too, never seen that before. You will love this place, the tranquility, the village, village life doesn't get much better than this!

Another nice touch, apart from the parking being free, on a nice gravel driveway and aplenty, is that the gates lock at night, you can open them up to go driving at night, one of your two keys works for both the front door of the guest house and the vehicle access gate.

When the lady gives you the wifi code, ignore the underscore, just leave that out, no space, just ignore the underscore and you will connect just fine, you will know what I mean when the hostess passes you the piece of paper with code.

Don't be put off with the passport application form..

Apart from the bus on the border of Thuringia and Bavaria in the village of Bad Colberg is the gasthaus Seysingshof. All in traditional German village style. The hostess speaks only German, so she didn't even seem to reflect our booking and declared no show..

I was on a business trip and I got off here for two nights. The room was very modern, I don't think very old. Good TV, Wi-Fi was fast. The service was great, very friendly and helpful.
