A good price for families, a nice hotel in a historic building, within walking distance of the city centre. Especially the balcony was perfect in nice weather. Quiet location in a backyard. Very spacious, large bathtub, with kitchen lines and also a conference table...certainly also useful for business purposes. Only the mattresses could be changed once and were already a little too soft. The breakfast was good, with a good selection of cheese, fruit, cereal....We liked it very much all around.

Great hotel in a quiet location - top price for families in the penthouse

A last minute booking for colleagues and I, a great price and a great hotel, secured in its own courtyard. A great welcome a great hotel, a great room and a fantastic breakfast. Free tea and coffee 24 hours a day. Parking which is free situated a two minute drive away, along with some great bars and restaurants close by.

Make the effort and stay

We are a couple with a 5-year-old child, we stayed here for two nights in August. The triple room (a double plus a bed on a square and 1/2) ė very spacious and quiet, clean and with an immense shower. Very nice staff, plus free parking since in the area on weekdays parking ė all for a fee. As for the area, the tree is located near the am planner, about 10 minutes walk from the pedestrian centre, well served by supermarkets and shops, is characterized by the presence of a predominantly Turkish population, which gives us the opportunity to try two exceptional dining places in two nearby restaurants.

Very convenient.

Stayed here recently with my wife and it was fantastic. The hotel looks even better than on the pictures and you realise that as soon as you walk in. It is run by this Thorsten and his wife, who are some of the nicest and most welcoming people you will ever have the pleasure of meeting - seriously tempted to start a fan club! :) Thorsten greeted us when we came and showed us around the hotel. One of our favourites was the spectacular beach-lounge secret-garden-style back terrace where chilling was a treat. 

We emailed ahead and asked if they could accommodate my wife's gluten-free and dairy-free needs and they did so perfectly. They also gave us some fantastic recommendations for restaurants and sites to see and sent us on our way with a map of the city. Hotel is really well connected as the metro station is literally 20 metres away and it takes you just 5 minutes to get to the city centre.

The rooms were beautifully decorated, beds big and comfy, bathroom spacious and clean - it had a feel of a luxury 5* boutique hotel, which in all fairness is what it is!

Absolute paradise with some of the nicest people you will ever meet (+gluten-free breakfast!)

Thorsten is a lovely guy, w/ good English. What's more, he makes a great breakfast.
Free Wifi, 30 seconds from Muggenhof U-Bahn, plus a garden.
It is 4-5 stops from the centre, but i prefer this - being away from the tourist hubbub gives you space to think about what you've seen and done during the day.

I highly recommend this hotel.

Friendly & Close to the U-Bahn

The hotel is perfect, clean, the rooms are nice, the staff are friendly and professional, the check-in ends at 10:00, we arrived later, however, they had everything arranged, we just called.

We were welcomed emphatically by Thorsten and he was incredibly helpful in providing a map and directions for our stay. His English is excellent and he went out of his way to be accommodating; booking a taxi for our return journey for example. The room was very clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. The hotel is well-located because it is just out of the centre meaning that it is away from the noise of the city in the evening. The hotel is only a 30 second walk from the metro and then the metro takes you into the city centre in about 9 minutes - the trains are very regular, even on Sundays. We loved our stay here.

The perfect base for exploring the city

ArtHotel Nuernberg is located a 1 minute walk from the U Bahn station Muggenhof, and a 20 minute ride from Central Nuernberg.  This hotel is a very old building that has been renovated to modern standards.   As always, in reviewing this property, one must expectations in line with the price point of the property.

Upon arrival at the property, I was warmly welcomed by the owner, and was shown to a room which was small, yet tastefully decorated and cleaned to high standards.  The complimentary wifi worked well, and there were several english speaking news stations on the television. 

Available at extra cost was a good quality breakfast which included meats, cheeses, fruits, breads, and the like.  Additionally, the owner offered to cook eggs, omelets, or other special requests that the traveler might have.  

Beers and wines were also available at reasonable cost.

Of concern is that the hotel is 5 floors, with no lift.  Travelers with motility issues should contact the hotel prior to booking to see if the traveler's issues can be accommodated.   

All told, this hotel represents an excellent value for the traveler.

Good Value; Great Service

The place is nice, the rooms are clean and comfortable with their bathroom with shower. The very kind staff, they also made us check in many hours in advance. There is no parking at the hotel but the area is quiet and safe at and there are many free and free places in the surrounding streets. Breakfast is expensive but worth it, very varied and for all tastes. The place is well connected to the center by metro (it takes less than 10 minutes) and the stop is a few steps away.

The ArtHotel is one of the best hotels we stayed in during the trade shows in Germany. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was excellent! It is literally a block from a train station - a perfect location. The parking is also convenient. We traveled at night and always felt safe in the area. The fair centre is not far away, convenient by train or car. The hotel is easy on the budget, too! I recommend this hotel to anyone - and we will stay again during our next trip to Nuremberg.
