The greeting was very friendly. I had a room on the top floor under the roof. It was very spacious and above all very comfortable. Several windows are equipped with airbags so that you can open them without any problem, even if there is light in the room. The equipment of the room was very good. Convenient leather chairs, a coffee table, electric scooter etc. The bathroom is convenient, but could be more comfortable. For this reason, the shower was very large. Overall, it was very quiet in the hotel, although there were several other guests. Anyone booking in the hotel should have a car, however. It is located in a small area on the edge of the site and it is rather difficult for me to reach public transport.

Cozy, good value for money, friendly staff

The hotel is located in a small town, but not far from the main roads, and is managed by the owner and well taken care of. Those who do not necessarily expect a buffet breakfast will also be more than satisfied with the breakfast offered. Breakfast, jam/honey, breakfast, cereal, etc. Bread, everything is available. I was very surprised by the spacious room. Also here was everything needed. Yes, it was made in the double room only one bed but that's why the mattress was not naked it was already taken and I think it really is not necessary to complete the second bed.

Hotel in quiet camp

Hotel with very affordable prices. Large-sized rooms, very clean beds. Very varied and very generous breakfast. Very friendly staff. We were able to have the evening meal: excellent family cuisine and very affordable prices.

That's great.

We've been to this hotel for the third time. Every year when the Line Dance Festival is in vogue in Güllesheim, we come back here. You feel at home and we are always welcomed. The rooms are very spacious, very SAUBER, breakfast has everything you can make at home on weekdays. It's really rich and tastes delicious. The coffee fits and the proximity to Güllesheim is perfect. Also highly recommended for hikers. Many hiking trails can be reached directly or by short trips. We've already booked for next year;-).

Nice, clean, family-run hotel near the Westerwaldsteig

This time I would like to rate Hotel Hubertus In Oberraden, Germany.

I stayed in this hotel in October 2015 during Anuga. This hotel was my choice and we reserved it for 5 people, for 5 nights. I had a single room on the bottom floor. 

When we arrived, hosts were really kind. They told us in our phone conversation that for the first night we will have one double and one triple room as the only solution. But, somehow they managed to give us 1 single and 2 double rooms as we asked previously. One double room was in the building nearby. My room was in the main building and I was happy I didn't have to pass over the street to reach my breakfast. 

When I got my keys and enter the room, I realized that it is the same one like you can see the photos on the internet. So, the picture on the net is real and these people are not cheating about this. There was a plenty of space for one single room and I was happy about that. The bad was for single person, so don't expect the comfort while you are sleeping. The pillow is soft, but as I had a pain in my back it was not good enough to make me feel very good. Although, in some normal conditions I cannot say that was bad. 

The heating was not on, so I had to turn it on by myself. That is something I hate the most. It is so unnatural when the guest needs to turn on the heating. I think that the hosts should do that a lot before, so when we arrive to have hot rooms. 

The TV was not in a good position according to my bed, so if you like to watch TV, the room I had is not so good choice. You will have to move everything to be able to watch TV, but in that case you will get a risk to fall down if you want to go to the bathroom over the night. 
There is no big desk, only a small one with good chair. But, this is not comfortable if you need to work on your computer, as you will get a pain in your back. I think they should put some normal working desk, as they have a space to do that. 

The bathroom is big and nice, although the shower is not so happy choice. The door on the shower are not so easy to close well, so you will have a problem with this. The towels were of dark red color or similar, which I don't like for hotels. They don't smell nice and this is a minus. When I stay in some hotel, I like to have nice and big white towels with great and clean smell. In Hubertus that is not the case. They have the policy that if you want to keep the nature you can keep the towel up. If you want a new one, put it on the floor. Ok, I am not someone who does not want to protect the nature, but I do think that when you pay for hotel, you should have a clean towel every day. It is so annoying for me to think all the time about putting my towel on the floor before I leave the room.

One day I found cleaning equipment in my room, on my desk. Dirty broom and waste container were on my desk. They forgot to take this out. That was not something I would mind, but it was on my desk. So, cleanliness is not on the very high level. 

The view from my room - it was right on the street. But, this is a village, so there is not too much to see. I had windows on two sides. One on the biggest wall, the other beside my bed. I put the blinds and curtains, as I don't like rooms on the down floor, so this was not something I can speak about. However, this is a quite village, so you can sleep well. 

Breakfast - you will not like this very much. Every day you will have the same things. And, in limited quantity. First I asked when earliest we can have breakfast, they said at 7.00 am. That was late for me, as we had to move at 8.00 and I had to prepare myself after the breakfast, but I couldn't do anything. I went at 7.00 am out of my room and found only coffee and few jams on the desk. I had to wait until 7.15 to get one plate of few things for all of us. So, everything is very limited - pieces of bread, pieces of meat - and that not a good quality meat. You will get one small glass of juice and maybe some morning some fruit or yogurt. I didn't like this. 

But, for the following days I asked our hosts to have breakfast exactly at 7.00 and they respected that. They also changed the light in my room which was ok when I came, but got broken during my stay. 

So, generally, for the money we paid during the fair, this hotel was good. But, for that price during the regular time, they should improve a lot. Not everything was bad. Hosts are wonderful people. You will not get wrong if you choose this hotel, but you will not get all the comfort you might like during your stay. 

And, maybe the most important, internet is working very good. It is fast and if you lose one connection, the hosts will give you the code for another, so this is a great side.

Good price for the fair time

For the low price a top address! We booked HRS spontaneously and were more than positive surprised: sea-friendly care, beautiful spacious rooms and absolutely clean. Breakfast has everything you need: breakfast cereal, freshly baked buns, sausage and cheese plates, O-juice, Nutella, jam and some fruit. Overall: very lovingly managed boarding house!

Secret tip, you know?

We reserved two rooms and arrived at the appointed time the reception area looked iffy, but we reserved judgment until we saw the rooms.  The hallways smelled of cat urine but the worst part was that the pillows and duvet covers were wet with a Fabreeze type of spray.  We checked out and found another place to spend the night.

Not clean!

Clean room, comfortable bed, big bathroom, free parking, big trees, fresh air, singing birds, nice owners, tasty breakfast, good beer (though not vom Fass - I guess it wasn't the season). Perfect rest from a tiresome day on the Autobahn.

Comfortable

The room is nice and offers lots of space.  The bed is comfortable and the pillows are big and fluffy.  Wifi in the room works well.  The included breakfast the next morning was tasty and offered plenty of variety.  This hotel is located a few km from the freeway in a small town.  The area is very quiet.

Nice hotel for a reasonable price

In an area where the hotels in the city are very expensive, we chose this hotel in a small village near a highway node to be able to visit more places. Hotel, practically a boarding house, family run. It would be more appropriate to call it a bed and breakfast. Nice person, available, very kind, but the structure is small and old. To access the rooms you have to walk in the middle of the house, with corridors, doors, etc. Large rooms, but furnished with old furniture, type of house that is no longer used.
