We had decided to book a DZ for the week of Schlemmer to visit. The rooms are conveniently furnished, the beds are comfortable. The bathroom and room are very clean. The location is perfect to reach the surrounding wine cellars on foot. The hotel has enough parking spaces. The parts of other complaints of noise pollution we cannot confirm if you keep the windows closed. The breakfast is varied and the ingredients are of good quality, so it tastes good. To emphasize the friendliness and accessibility of the ownership couple. Although we were the first time we were treated like regular guests there. We can recommend the hotel.

Solid and recommended

Ruthmann is more like a large boarding house than a hotel. The reception is only temporarily occupied, the key is provided by means of a code from the keybox. In the hall there is a refrigerator with a manageable selection of drinks. The hotel and facilities (including the bathroom) have come quite into the years, the hallways through the hotel are labyrinth-like. The street down the Rhine is very noisy in the rooms to the Rhine and nothing for noisy guests. But those who do not have elevated demands are still well maintained here. Especially the family that operates the hotel is very friendly and helpful!

Good, but you shouldn't expect too much.

At the foot of our hike on the Rheinsteig with 5 overnight stays, the B&B Ruthmann was the one with the second highest price. The most expensive was much better furnished, had a sauna and was quieter. Even the other, cheapest hotels were mostly better equipped and did not match the service. The furniture in the room certainly had already 30 to 40 years on the hook (the mattresses were new = good). The dining room felt even more. The bathroom was small but purposeful and clean (as well as the room). The view of the Rhine is very nice. The leading B42 is also unfortunately very busy at night. Unfortunately, the viewing windows are not really good (we would have preferred to sleep with open windows) or the Rolla was not a problem as a result.

I'm afraid price and performance don't match.

The rooms were specially furnished with views of the vineyards and the Rhine. A nearby main traffic street is visible, but hardly heard, so the night's rest is uninterrupted. The breakfast was fine and rich. The friendly host gave us valuable walking tips. We had to move on after only one night and did not have the opportunity to try the wine we made at home.

My husband and I were warmly welcomed and you were very helpful. We had a room without Rhine view, with shower and balcony, which was very generously clean for us. The breakfast buffet was richly arranged with everything you liked and the breakfast room has a great view of the Rhine. All the employees and owners were very friendly. We can also recommend this hotel and are happy to come back.

Hotel with a good feeling

Located in Winkel, with beautiful view of the Rhine and vineyards, this hotel is very recommendable. The restaurant was closed for the season, but a very good breakfast buffe was available.Parking with lot of space at the hotel.

Good location, nice personel

My wife and I were warmly welcomed. The boss, Mr. Vahle, handed us the room key and took us in for a short time. Then we went to the first floor and had a room with a balcony. The view of the Rhine, fantastic. The breakfast the next day was very rich and super good. We immediately prepared it for the friendly staff and were thrilled. We can only recommend this hotel. We will be booking there soon.

Hotel to feel good

This is a simple but clean boarding house. The room wasn't too small, the shower was clean, and the bed and laundry were comfortable. The exterior impression is not quite convincing at first glance, but for what you get inside, the performance is quite ok.

Simple, clean and generous room

Oestrich Winkel  area is Wine country, there is the European Business School here as well. This B&B is right across from the train station, the rooms are typical Europe small but functional, but pristine, cleanest room I have stayed in. The breakfast had lots of variety, again with a beautiful view. The staff were great the owner was super helpful as we needed to get a few things in town. They have an automatic key dispenser if they are not there when u arrive which makes sense, had never done that before so a little unnerving but the stay was great I would absolutely  go back

Stunning view of the Rhine at reasonable rates

We used to live in a renovated room. The renovation went well. The beds, as usual, were tight, although there would still be at least 10 centimeters of space for each side... Will we remain a mystery forever! The hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly and attentive. The breakfast area looks very attractive, the offer here is very good.
