Lauterbach, always worth a trip! We live in Lauterbach for the second time and are very happy again. The reception was very nice, parking was available and with the elevator we went to the penthouse! Everything you need on 150m2! The roof terrace and the view of the harbour, just class, we will definitely come back.

If again I want to come to this region, I will never select this hotel,  the manner of reception personel was not good, as well as the other workers in breakfast room specially if they recognize that you are not German. 
As I have experienced the behaviour of most shopkeepers with foreign guests were aggressive and very impolite. There is no any telephone in the room if you want to call reception or cleaning room. The quality of breakfast was not special.Also when I wanted to take short trip with ship I encountered with the abnormal and aggressive reactions from Capitan which shocked me.

Bad experience with Hotel goor

As we have often said, it is not very convenient for an apartment. But the location, the tranquility, the furnishings and the friendliness of the reception fit. 1. very clean 2. Everything you need 3. Breakfast daily bookable - very simple but ok 4. With luck looking out to sea :-) 5. The location and gastronomy around is very nice.

Nice rooms and nice reception

First of all, the positive: free parking, neutral furnished, clean room. Good restaurants and snacks in the immediate vicinity. However, you can see that the hotel saves everywhere: very anonymous hotel. The reception is in a different building (filmmaker's way) than the hotel (Hafenstraße) and closes at 6 pm. Checkout is friendly but somewhat unplanned (help). We were sent away at 2:30 pm, because the room was basically not to be opened until 3 pm (probably because the receptionist in the other store doesn't know if the room might be ready earlier).

Average, too expensive for the cheap standard.

We stayed in this holiday apartment for three days and were very satisfied. It is large, modern and very clean. The kitchen is very well equipped. We would have been happy with a few standard tools (e.g. oil, enough salt and pepper). The dishwasher is of course great. Spare time on vacation. :-) The apartment was very nice for us and also quiet at the port. Parking was right in front of the door. The dining area is a little dark, but there might be a lamp that the hotel could put up. We were very happy and would definitely come back.

Clean and modern holiday home

We always like to come back.It is an ideal starting point for a complete exploration of Rügen Island.With about 10 restaurants, this place is recommended for all age groups.Especially for lovers of fresh fish.

I had booked a double room for a week for single use. I got a tiny room with a double bed. At the request of a room change, I was handled by the receptionist with the remark that I had got a double room. Just as I had booked it. One single indiscretion. WiFi and guest cards were available only on repeat request. Service and friendliness of a hotel receptionist look quite different. Since the reception is only occupied until 17 h, you only get access to the hotel after you have booked a door by phone. Check-in self-service. and bathrooms were windowless and very uncomfortable. One option: Double room in a hotel, no one needs a bathroom in a room with 4 bathrooms, and no one needs a bathroom in a room with 4 bathrooms.

No more!

Attractive, quiet location opposite Lauterbach Hafen, and only 200m from the station Lauterbach Mole), which is served by regular trains, as well as the Rasender Roland steam railway to Binz, Sellin and Göhren. Room nicely furnished, very clean, with balcony and sea view. Good buffet breakfast and friendly staff. 

On the negative side, there were lots of mosquitos during our stay in mid-August, and it was difficult preventing them entering our room - and it was too hot to keep the windows closed all night.  Perhaps the hotel could equip the balcony doors with a secondary mesh barrier to keep them out more effectively? Also there are no hotel staff available in the evening from 18.00, except via a call to a mobile ("handy") number.

Overall though; we enjoyed our stay at the Goor Hotel, and would defintiely go again.
