I was at the Castle with my Girlfriend, a couple of days ago and it was beautiful. Our hope to see the beauty in the snow was destroyed because of the good weather conditions but anyway. Sunny, Rainy or Snow. It's a beauty. You can enjoy the quietness of the garden, or just watch the birds at the lake.

We def. will come back.

We attended a wedding ceremony. The castle was renovated in October 2018. Although outside it was about 5°C, the heating was hardly warm; the room was cold. Unfortunately, we got a very bad impression of the operation of the castle. Unfortunately, we got a very bad impression of the operation of the castle. From the use of the building, I would strongly advise everyone to celebrate. A stay also seems to be recommended only in the summer. Here are some examples of my impressions: We were in the castle in October 2018. Although it was about 5°C outside, the heating was hardly warm; the room was really cold. We had a large Deluxe Suite, in which we could apparently only stay in bed after the use of the classic coffee shops.

Cold, expensive, very average food

This is a somewhat different hotel, as the name suggests. Individual, very nice rooms, architecturally charming. Breakfast is okay and it's a secluded, esoteric place. Since I'm also very interested in old furniture and restoration, it was twice as good. On the sweet lake you can also go swimming and stroll around the place. Once a year there's a big show with fireworks, music, dance, food and drink.

a special stay in a particular hotel

Me and my wife was stay 2 nights at this Fantasty Historical Hotel Castle, a lovely manager and the crew give us a lot advise and suggestion to travel around the Germany, Nice Breakfast, tidy clean and high-end classical couple room to stay. We love this place so much, and also is so nature and beautiful environment surrounding nearby the Castle. Good recommend to stay at this Hostel.

A nice place surrounding at Schochwitz Healing Hotel Castle

Our experience in this hotel has been somehow weird. It is obvious that the castle where the hotel is seated is very beautiful. Furnitures and decoration are very original and impressive.Luxury sensation was achieved.  No aesthetic complaints at all.
We were there 3 days. What it has been surprising is that the second day we realized that the room had not been cleaned and dressed as it is normal in any hotel in the world. There were a very few guests in the hotel, so we asked why it had happened. The response of the manager was surprising. That place was not a hotel. That place was a very special guest-house with specific rules, and one of those rules was that no room-cleaning service was offered unless guests had asked for it. That rule was part of their philosophy . When I asked why they had their advertisements in a webpage about hotels , and they offered that house as a hotel , and not in a Philosophical webpage, the manager just said to me : "relax yourself" , and she tried to give me a hug . But I did not want a hug , I just wanted to have the services that are expected to have in a hotel with a prize 130 euros /night. In summary : very confusing place, that should not be offered in a hotel booking web-page , and with rules that should be clearly noticed in advance, when the booking is made.

Not a hotel ?

This is really a unique and amazing place! The castle is surrounded by the nature and forest, a quiet place for us to escape from the city. Staff are very friendly and the breakfast buffet is very nice, I feel like really stay in a castle. The room is clean and they put a book in our room for us to read. I love the old design and antique furniture. Everyone seems so relax and enjoy, birds singing all day around this place. What I love to do here is just walking around the nature, lay on the meadow and reading a book, drink a cup of coffee. What a lovely day :)

Beautiful Castle and healing in the nature

Lord drunk, lady very rude, with disparaging remarks to other guests. The hotel has nothing to do with healing or modern, customer-friendly hospitality. When the staff sets the heating at minimum temperatures at night in the morning and neither the beds are made nor cleaned, this does not correspond to my ideas of a 99€/night so-called junior suite. I nevertheless enjoyed my stay in the region hall very much.

Disaster - when images lie on the Internet.

It's a wonderful place, with incredibly friendly staff, really a place where you can be yourself and relax, super-trained personal coaching staff, a personalized program tailored to the individual, if desired, vegetarian cuisine very rich and balanced, well-maintained castle and guest room.

Coming to Rest

The staff were very kind, sympathetic and willing to grant all wishes. In the rooms you live like in a movie. You can feel through the walls the 900-year history and imagine that there were still windy gentlemen here. Breathtaking. Frustration is perfect. The local honey is outstanding and very special. You experience the special feeling of not knowing exactly where you are, at least far away from the poisoned culture of the modern cities. A place where you can find yourself, maybe even one you didn't know yet. Love, passion and taste in every detail everywhere (like the sack of sackclothes under the pillow or the colors of the walls, the furniture and the objects from other dimensions). Weaving is perfectly contrasted. This place has a history that has been untouched for thousands of years, and all of its inhabitants are still living in a place of pure and untouched by God.

A dream through the centuries

I stayed at the Castle for 5 days and I can truly say: It's a perfect place to unwind and recharge your batteries. It's ideal for single travellers and can easily be reached by train (Halle) and then by bus (takes 50 min.). You can take lovely walks directly from the castle, and don't worry you cannot get lost, they'll all lead back to the castle. Or rent a bike and ride to Süßer See, take a swim, and ride back through vineyards where you may taste locally grown wine. Or just spend a couple of hours in the garden, reading, dozing, or listening to a myriad of bird voices. The castle owners and their international helpers may suggest things to do, such as yoga with Ingrid or a trip to Halle with its varied cultural offers, it's definitely worth a visit. The rooms are really royal, each one being furnished differently, they are spacious and you'll sleep like a log. Last but not least, treat yourself to a couple of minutes on the crystal bed, it's not expensive. I did not feel an instant effect, however, having arrived back home, I feel more energetic and active, so I presume, it did a very good job on me.
