In the past, there has been an increase in the number of hotels in the United States, and the number of hotels in the United States has declined.

It's an old, lovingly restored specialty house, like only in the TOP hotel. From the reception to the aperitif to the farewell, Christian and Sabine can be described as perfect hosts. The proverb: Come as a guest and go as a friend is pre-lived here. Many hotels - even in terms of cleanliness - can cut themselves a slice. Thank you. The balance between German cuisine (salted bread, liver sausage as a starter), an excursion with risotto and Jacob's muscles and a great lamb sauce stew (does this really?) can still be described as a perfectly interpreted international cuisine.

Interim stop with friends

Stopped by for dinner while motoring in the area. In a charming village. Food was superior and the wine list impressive. Vineyards nearby and the Muscatel is to be recommended. Good Classic German fare.

Excellent restaurant

Last Friday we had dinner for two again. The menu was very well put together by the pension office and the execution was a dream. The atmosphere in the gas chamber was very pleasant and the service very attentive. The evening was very nice and pleasant for us. We can only recommend the pension office.

Dinner

We had booked a flat offer with 2 nights and half board. The hotel is beautiful. It makes fun to stroll through the historic rooms. Everything is very well maintained. We felt very well and enjoyed the good wine and the excellent food. Sabine and Christian Pilz and their team took good care of us. We are back!!

A historic house with good food

One night stay in the first decade of december 2016. Beaufitul room, clean, and traditional. Maybe a little too simple and traditional. But Good. Very good breakfast rich and with selected ingredients. I recommand it. No infos on the restaurant because it was closed for weekly rest.

One good hotel with excellent breakfast

I always get a little scared when a hotel puts hearing protection pads on the table. My room on the second floor was very well equipped, clean, spacious with a nice bathroom/toilet. From the outside, when the window was closed, there was nothing to hear. The room also didn't go to the street. However, you could hear every step from the room over it. It was very uncomfortable. It's a historic building. Next time I'll probably have to use the earphones.

Great rooms, but pretty bright.

This small hotel in Schwaigern, Germany is a small quaint yet sophisticated place to stay. Old time German charm throughout the building. 3 floors in total. Rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms are modern and up to date.
On site is a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. All meals are typical German fare. Everything we ate was great tasting and farm fresh.
The owners are on site and ensure that every guest receives the highest quality treatment.
The hotel also can cater events such as weddings, parties, etc
Since the building is 400 years old, no elevators. If you have trouble climbing stairs they have rooms on the 1st floor

A superb local German Hotel/ Bed+ breakfast

I stayed at this hotel for two nights with my boyfriend and his family (housed in 3 rooms) on the occasion of a visit to relatives: if I didn't misunderstand the hotel is derived from an old residence of a high-rise in the area and consists of about fifteen rooms. The furniture and structure of the rooms are very nice, with the advantage of being also spacious, but the hotel itself is not comfortable: there is no elevator, there is no refrigerator in the rooms (and in some there is not even air conditioning), breakfast is very essential. Given the price paid (50 euros per night with breakfast) we have not been essentially satisfied, it can go well as an emergency solution (we booked even a week before) but we would not be satisfied in our case.

Characteristic but not functional structure

Hotel is pretty nice with large rooms in old and renovated building. If you are around the area it's worth to drive a bit more to reach it. Breakfast is also good, wifi available. In-house restaurant, well known in the region, is fantastic. Wide selection from the menu (evening dinner) with day suggestions from the chef (lunch). Quality is as good as variety, delicious meat and very good fish plates as well. Local selection of wines. Both hotel and restaurant are highly recommended.
