The hotel is located in the middle of the old town. Here it is very quiet and cozy. The hotel has a historic façade that fits well with the old town style. Inside there is rustic furnishings. The room is simple and modern and spacious. It is clean and tidy, like the whole house. The bathroom is also spacious and the shower is very good. The mattresses are also very good and you can sleep comfortably. The whole team is very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast breakfast is rich and for something. Quality as well as taste is very good. The food is also very good. Here too, quality, very good taste. Thanks to the kitchen, which is cooked here every evening. Whoever is brought up with a good smell.

Historic city hotel with charm

The Pörtnerhof is located in the center of Seßlach. The hotel consists of several houses in Seßlach. Old houses are lovingly renovated. Therefore, sometimes there are escalators or sloping floors, but always beautiful! Rooms are very clean. Very good breakfast! Nice staff. Glad to be back!

Very nice and tasty accommodation with very friendly service

The Pörtnerhof is always worth a stop. The service is very friendly and helpful, the kitchen performance is very appealing. The original pizza (pinsa) must have been tasted, very tasty. The room is truly spacious, quiet and clean, the beds very good. Again and again I like it!

We were with friends at the restaurant Pörtnerhof. At 23 degrees, we were sitting in a nice courtyard. The service was good, the food was good as well. The Pörtnerhof special pinsa (the late-Roman precursor to pizza) was rich and delicious in various variations, as was the pasta dish. The espresso was a little too small, rather mini. For this, the aperitifs were richly ingested. Overall, a nice place and very recommended.

Through an animated TV post, we chose this hotel to explore Upper Franks and it is an ideal starting point. In a newly restored guesthouse we spent beautiful days. Sesslach, an idyllic town with the flair of the Middle Ages, was also reflected in our guesthouse. In a beautifully restored crafthouse with the old stairs, the scent of wood and history, we entered a modernly decorated room. The highlight, the sturgeon that was visible from the balcony. Since we only had breakfast in this house, I only rated this one. It was a very good, lovingly decorated house with fresh fruit, marmalade, delicious.

Beautiful days in the idyllic Sesslach

The Corona concept (breakfast in plastic) took some comfort, but the Pörtnerhof can't do anything about it. - Five points for ambience and cleanliness as well as the kindness and reception of the boss.

Clean, nice and friendly.

We were staying in the guest house, which is only a minute's walk from the main house, but in our case, because of the churchyard on the market, it was the better alternative.

(+) This hotel, which consists of several old buildings and is located in the middle of a very old place, has been very well and comfortably restored. The rooms are clean and large. The beds were okay. Our room consisted of two rooms and was located on the street and had a four-window front. The facade was old, but everything was fine. Breakfast was taken at the adjacent restaurant and was a buffet. It was very tasty and generous. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Beautifully restored old building - great hotel near con Coburg and Bamberg

The beautiful Portnerhof is located in the centre of Sesslach. Since the city gates are still closed at night in Sesslach, it is better to park the car in one of the parking lots outside the city wall. You can walk to the hotel in three minutes. I had a room where the bedroom is on the first floor. Small kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor. The steep stairs are a sure obstacle for older guests or guests with restrictions. All other guests will be sure to cope with it. Very quiet sleep. The early morning is good, eggs are prepared fresh on request. The service is very inviting and welcoming. The room is suitable for breakfast with a bicycle. 60€.
