Nice location and nice staff. Excellent breakfast. One annoying thing is there is full non functional kitchen in the room. No hot water can cooker, refrigerator with no electric, no cups, or utensils. The breakfast is good but you will have nothing in your room. WIFI is very slow. 

Ugh no fridge! 

We were so disappointed - we were here once 11 years ago! But we didn't expect this unfriendly welcome. We were here with friends and part of the rooms were a disaster: mold, dirt, just uninhabitable! Even this low discount does not excuse anything, - a pity for a hotel that has tradition!

Route of the Ruhr valley

On the RuhrtalRadweg, we were staying at the Henriette Davidis Hotel in a roof chamber that was in urgent need of renovation. The wallpaper broke off from the ceiling and partly from the walls. There was still a mirror of a former kitchen line in the room. The naßzelle (bath) was about 3 sqm small. There was still room for washbasins, showers and toilets. The two roof windows had not been cleaned for a long time. The reception was not occupied at 15:00.

Hotel needs urgent renovation

Even looking at the booking system was too much... you don't feel like a customer, you just feel like a patient beggar.

Non-binding and non-responsive

Rooms meet today's standard (even if the fan in the bathroom had to be renewed) breakfast is rich e-bikes could be housed in a garage with a charging connection we were satisfied

Nettes Hotel supports cyclists

...we were staying at the hotel. When we arrived on the bike, we were warmly received. The rooms are spacious and clean. In our room there was even a small kitchenette. The breakfast was not open to anyone's wishes.

Happy all around

We were invited to a family party and stayed here. A beautiful, lovingly decorated breakfast room, a versatile buffet breakfast and very nice staff. The boss was very helpful in finding a bus connection. The rooms are very clean and the price ratio is perfectly fine. Own parking space in front of the house. A small family-run hotel in an old factory building. Anyone who doesn't need an elevator or other snack is booked here. The bathrooms have a soap dispenser.

It's a wonderful little hotel.

The room was clean and  breakfast was good. Wengen is a charming place. 
The restaurant was not open in the evening. There is no reception and we had to ring the door bell on arrival. 
The proprietor was less than helpful when we tried to check out.

Disappointed

We stayed at the hotel as part of a football visit to Dortmund. The hotel was clean and comfortable, the bathrooms and showers excellent. The breakfast was a very good continental style feast. The owner couldn't do enough to help us find our way around. All three of us agreed that we would go back, which is the biggest compliment I can give.

Excellent stay

The room is a little old, the hotel is located in a pleasant setting. booked for two nights, I had to leave the first morning, for an emergency, the boss charged me for both nights and both breakfasts.
