We arrived in Crete at the end of September. The plans were to visit Santorini. A very nice person took us to the hotel, helped us down to the check-in spot (which wasn't always easy for us to get to the hotel) and introduced us (as we later realized the owner of this small hotel. The hotel was a two-story hotel (which was surprisingly nice!) furnished.

The extraordinary Santorini

It's a terrible place... overbooking... no staff... one young girl for the whole hotel... not equipped as advertised. There's no service. The pool was very dirty and stinking. I'll never come here again. The view was nice, the city itself is interesting. In two weeks I haven't seen the owner once, three times they wanted to change rooms. Dear guests, don't book this hotel.

We booked this hotel months in advance. Looking at the feedback we thought it was mixed reviees so we would give it a try and also the price was quite cheap compared to others. When we arrived we were moved to a different hotel about 10 minutes walk from the Irini. The lady in charge was so nice to us and said there was an issue with our room so we had to move. Cause she was nice we said ok. But we were dissappointed that there was no kitchen liked we booked. We told her but she said she cant do anything about it. So we were guven no choice but to stay.
The last day when we were leaving on the airport shuttle, the driver stopped half way and refused to take us further unless we paid him 25 € . I called the hotel and she wouldnt help us and was so rude. She said its not her problem and she would not reimburse us even though it clearly says airport shuttle included. She was unbelievable rude and it was disgusting the way she spoke to me.

If you want to holidag here there are soo many hotels, please do not waste your time and money staying here. I spoke to a few others that also had the same issues all from the same hotel.  They are liars and thieves stealing whatever money they can from you. 

Looking at all the feedback sooo many people had the same experience with them, so dont risk it!

Moved from the Blue suits to here - in effect an upgrade purely for the amazing view. Staff were helpful and friendly, room small but comfortable. Bit of a hike into Fira, but there is a good and close mini mart, bakery and pharmacy. Breakfast served on balcony 8-10, continental style and fine for us. 
Stayed 5 nights.

The Views...

Excellent price-quality ratio. magnificent and incredible views. If I return to Imerovigli I will repeat the hotel. Very quiet although breakfast was something repetitive. Excellent treatment by the employees.

Amazing views.

The only thing this hotel (which can't even be called a downhill) has to offer is a stunning view, in the most beautiful place in the world. Usually I would write about hair on the bed and the like. But unfortunately there were other things that fell right into one's eye and nose. Four years ago I was once a visitor at this hotel and at that time the balcony furniture was already good when it was sticky, dirty and red. And since then it has never changed! The security of this room smelled like a mold-chlor mix.

Don't book!

If you want to go to the Imerovigli resorts...all but this place!!!!!! The dishonesty and the little professionalism done in person. After booking and paying in advance we had to find out only once we landed that the structure was complete.

It's embarrassing.

Despite confirming our booking a number of times (booked 9 months in advance) were were of course moved to not one but 2 different hotels. The second was of inferior quality with no pool or balcony or breakfast. We were offered no reason or recompense for this extreme inconvinience, and were forced to waste our time lugging our suitcases up and down the stairs. If you actually get to stay in this hotel it looked quite nice, with beautiful views, but I wouldn't count on it. Terrible experience.

Terrible

I booked a room at this hotel in January 2014 for July 2014 and paid at the time of booking,  e-mailed the hotel, a month at least, prior to arriving to confirm that my reservation was safe which was confirmed. When I arrived,tired and hot I was flippantly told that there was a problem with my room and I would have to stay in another hotel. When I suggested that the 'problem' was the fact that they had given my room to someone else the receptionist shrugged her shoulders and said "yes". I cannot express my frustration and anger enough,especially after my attempts to confirm all would be ok. I would suggest that this hotel is profiteering by booking you in with no intention of housing you, then passing you off to another hotel/hostel without the facilities you had paid for originally. Do not waste your time getting involved with this unreliable, unethical facade of a hotel.
