Place was cozy. Rooms are clean and warm . I had to ask for the towel, lt was not ln the room. Bring your own shampoon. Price for 1 room with shared bathroom and kitchen was quite good and room was very big. However, in my next visit i’m planing to stay there as well.

Not bad

It's a very well-located hostel.Our room was double, and what I didn't like was that the bed wasn't for marriage, except for two joints with a wooden frame that separates the sides and the back of the back.The bathroom was separate between boys and girls, and it was a bathroom like one of a gym.It's a hostel for young people.The kitchen has everything from a normal kitchen.

A central place to sleep.

We stayed at Hello Budapest Hostel for 2 nights. They reallocated us to a very close apartment building on Raday Street which is a very lively street with many restaurants and shops. The room was very clean, neat and simple with new furniture. There is a shared bathroom and also a shared kitchen, well equipped. Very close to Central Hall Market and Liberty Bridge and also close to Kalvin Ter metro station. However, there is one thing that seemed unclear to me: I booked a Double Deluxe Room and received a quite small room, with no TV. There was only a bed with two nightstands and a wardrobe. If this was the Double Deluxe, then what does the Double "Simple" Room includes?

Very good location, good value for the money

We stayed for 2 nights in 8 bed dorm room. Room was really nice with big lockers and comfy beds. Bathroom wasn't as clean as it should be. Breakfast wasn't very good and overcharged for what we got. Hostel is in a great location, walking distance to all major sites. 

Good location

Can not tell a lot about the hostel, because when we arrived to the place, thay told us they do not have our reserevation. The system showed them reservation for 1 person and we booked for 5. Good we printed out our confirmed booking. We got a replacement, but it was in another place, hostel even provided us a taxi. But for the check out the should come back to the hostel again in the morning, so it was a little bit inconvenient. Except this confusion, we enjoyed our stay in Budapest so much.

We stayed in a private room with shared bathroom... we have no complaints about the room and the bathroom being super clean, the only problem is that the building is undergoing renovations and the workers arrive very soon and listen to each other in our room.

It is very funny that people living in Budapest didn't know where Gonczy Pal utca was. I really liked this place. It was close to metro, trams, Liberty Bridge and other attractions. We could easily get everywhere. The rooms were very warm. On the first and last day we could leave our bags in safe place. The only thing that wasn't perfect was showers.
