We managed to get a room in the very last minute for a long weekend for 5 persons. The staff is very helpful both in booking and in general as well. The " fogadó"(inn) is in a good location, close to restaurants, spa and the zoo a perfect fit for the family. Price was 100 EUR/ night for five of us incl breakfast. BTW basic brekfast is bread, salami, cereals, juice,tea,coffee, veggies and for some 3-4 EUR you can have freshly made scrambled eggs etc. They have a small wellness center also but we did not try. Parking is easy and private. 

Big surprise

I'm surprised that with friendly and friendly staff, a beautiful garden and a nice spa area, the rest of the room wasn't very clean, the furniture (and the whole atmosphere in the two-room apartments and the kitchen) can be characterized by the words from the song - I blinded him out of what was. The kitchen is very conditional - there's a place to sit and eat and a plate with a refrigerator.

I'm surprised myself.

The room is dirty, there's no air conditioning and no bathroom, breakfast's not good, wellness is good, rooms are clean, a family room costs 160 euros for two nights, and it's worth at least what you'd expect from a photo.

I wouldn 't recommend it.

Nice surroundings,unfortunately the food were pretty tasteless and smaller than an average amount - for a higher than average price..Waiter was friendly and helpful but the food destroyed our satisfaction...If you want to eat better -find an other place,there are enough place to choose from.

About the restaurant..

Had an excellent stay here, and was an excellent budget-friendly wellness/inn

STAFF - Extremely friendly and helpful. No qualms/complaints whatsoever. They also toured us around the hotel to show us everything.

ROOM - A little small, particularly because we were directly under the roof and thus half of the rooms ceiling was at a slant and was easy to bump your head against. Otherwise it was clean -- with the exception of the shower which needed a thorough scrub

FACILITIES - Wellness included a decent size pool, sauna, jacuzzi and a small thermal bath that sits maybe ~5-6 people. There were various rooms as well like a lavender room, salt room, plus others. There was also a small grassed area where you could sunbathe. With the exception of massages these were all included in the cost of the stay. There were also a little shared cooking area in the inn if you perhaps want to reheat some food to eat.

RESTAURANT - Ate here for one meal. Nice interior, friendly staff. It was a little pricey but food was nice.

BREAKFAST - There's a buffet breakfast served in the restaurant every morning. Decent variety with cold foods to choose from(cereals/juice/yoghurts/bread/sandwich meats) but also some hot food (frankfurt/virsli, eggs). Doesn't seem to change.

LOCATION - A bit further away compared to other hotels, and located in the middle of a small residential area. 10 minutes walk away from the lake, 10 minutes away from Sostohegy train station.

Other comments:
Seems mainly catering towards families.
Our bed was comfortable but very noisy -- creaking at most movements.

Lovely inn with nice facilities

The room was not clean and during my stay (4nights) no one cleaned my room, bathroom or changed towels and linen.
The shower was dirty and the cubicle broken... Water everywhere!!!
Breakfast (good) was served only after 8.00am.
Friendly staff and good restaurant.
