We have spent 2 nights here with 3 kids in a tent. The place is not really clean, the kitchen could be used only for washing dishes, no cooking and a dirty micro. The pool only had some green water in it. The host charged more compared to process on their website, saying it is outdated. Still, she could not show us an up-to-date price list...
Not happy :(

Two nights too expensive

The whole place "under construction". Looking at earlier pictures of unfortunate customers, we see that nothing has changed since last summer. Surprisingly desolate. Only the rooms and a lobby are in acceptable condition, but dust lies everywhere -- no cleaning. Unfriendly and shamelessly lying owner.  No usable kitchen. Internet does not work.
Unfortunately we had to spend one night there. The good four star hotel in the center of Sopron, where we spent the rest of the excursion, does not cost significantly more.

Awful -- szörnyű. Do not even think to go there

We were satisfied. Although the square was not yet officially open, we were left with one. Electricity was provided and hot water was turned on. We were all alone on the square, so a ladies' and gentlemen's toilet was enough. How does that work when the square is full?

After two campgrounds we found the Balf, all closed, even though it's convenient to visit the center, the campground is exhausting, the daytime showers are not hot, but only from 5:00 p.m., they smell of sewage and are very bad, the pool is a pool of dead frogs and mice floating in the little water, the unweighted price, the campsite level, absolutely not recommended.

It's really creepy.

Before anything, I'm not a camp guy, so my experience in terms of camping is limited. However I can share my thoughts here. :)

We've spent two nights here. First of all, the lady, our host was super friendly and helpful! She really puts all the effort and her heart to run this place.

There were only a few in the entire campground, which we were grateful for, as there is only ONE toilet for ALL men! This, I can not understand why and how could it work at all? If two need to go there, do they need to throw a coin and who loose, can change his underwear? :)

But beside this, everything was OK.

It's a pretty messed up camping run by Easterners, messed up, I want to believe it's because I went out of season, in May, the restaurant was closed, shallow services with the chemical toilet drain room with no light and pretty dirty showers even with hot water.

To be fixed

At first, the place looks very good. We (2persons) stayed here for 3 nights with a tent and car. There are a plenty of trees so  there is enough shadow. There is a big clean pool, unfortunately is the outside shower not working. The biggest negative thing is the noise of the traffic because the camping is situated next a busy road. At least, at check-out the price raises 6 euro per night. By email, the owner said it was 12 euro, and she didn't mention that electricity and tourist was not included. Deliberately or not, it gives no pleasant feeling.

Good for transit, no more.

Former campsite Castrum, we arrived in the middle of the night desperate to find no other free campsites.The campsite is now run by Asian staff, very kind and available.The stopping areas are not very clean but functional, toilets are clean and prices are very low.No wifi connection
