Was returning with family (4 persons) from a short break in Italy, needed to stay over a night on the road, and this place seemed to be a natural and convenient choice, on the highway. Check in was ok, circa 23:00. Rooms were not big, but cosy. Early morning needed to leave (7:00), decided to grab 4 coffees and 4 mini croissants at the gas station (motel & station function together). Ordered that, gave 20 euro bill, and gas station cashier lady gave the change of 1.5€ !!! We demanded receipt - but she faked to not understand me, certainly didn’t give the check. We persisted, and so she gave .. + 1000 HUForints (less than 3€)… why 1000? why not less or more..? We were puzzled and felt deceived. Than insisted to pay with a bank card, requested to reverse our cash  transaction. This all was followed by demonstrative annoyance and anger from the lady’s side. We persisted, so finally paid/got our bank terminal receipt (not fiscal from the cash register, still). And the amount for those coffees/bakery was 3711 HUF (9,7€). Would be a blunt rip off, if we would not watch. After that we wanted to return motel rooms’ keys at the gas station desk, like normal procedure and continue our trip, but… were told TO WAIT TILL 09:00, when the reception desk would open (obviously not a 24:00 hour service). Being foreigners, decided to wait, to avoid any problems, but constantly felt humiliated!!! Thieves, that’s all we can say! Watch out there!!!

Nearly got ripped off…

We are a family of 4 with a one and a six years old. After a quite long trip, we decided to visit this restaurant today. When we stepped in we asked one of the waiters where to sit. We got a table with lake view and sat comfortably. The menu looked good (mostly BBQ and grill) but after twenty minutes of waiting we decided to leave because the staff didn't bother to take our order. I mean they didn't even take our drink order before meal. We desperately tried to make eye contact with the waiters in vain. The restaurant wasn't even busy, it was around 15 pm, they had plenty of empty tables. Two guests who came after us and were sitting next to our table received their drinks and we heard them placing their meal order as well. As we were still invisible for the staff we decided to leave...

Good location, terrible customer service

We were at the restaurant on the 16th of August eating. I had a hamburger, the rest of the family had pizza. The food is excellent. The pizzas are fresh, just like the hamburger. The view over the lake is unique. The English is very good. Our waiter was very friendly and friendly. I can recommend the restaurant warmly.

Very good food

We have visited the restaurant today, and it was a very nice hour we've spent there. The food was excellent. We had pizzas, that had a very nice dough and tasty toppings plus chicken schnitzel, that had the nicest crispy crust I have seen for a long time. They were also ready quite fast with all the meals. 
The restaurant has tables inside the buildings and on the terrace (with a nice view on the lake) as well. 
Beware! The toilet is downstairs, you need to walk the staircase twice!
Stuff was very nice and helpful, they helped to choose a meal for my daughter. They have even picked up for us some items my son dropped on the floor.
The reason I'm not giving five stars is the stairs to the toilet, plus lack of attention to some details like a few broken edges of the outer staircase, flowers blooming from the pavement, and spider nets on the downside of the chairs.
But there are not necessarily disturbing, for us it was absolutely worth a stop!

Nice stop for a meal

This review is about the restaurant.
We returned after a few months and did not regret it. 
Waiters were polite, food was delicious and the view was still great. They have the restrooms a floor under the dining room - just a warning for the disabled.

Still a good place

We travelled on M7 and take a short break fur lunch. The food was ok, but the service was slower than we expected. Because we run out our time we have to skip the dessert. The stuff were kind and helpful.
You can eat here traditional hungarian dishes.

Good sightseeing to the lake

We where suprised of this motorway hotel/restaurant which is perfectly run by brother and sister, Gergely & Katalik.
With super staff, service, food and really good advice what to see and where to go.
The Skizo was perfect to a swedish dinner as well.

Super hospitallity

We stopped by car from Hewiz to Budapest with friends, very friendly staff, great coffee, cheap prices, a hotel near the restaurant, a large menu, free wi-fi.

It's a nice stop.

This hotel is run by a smiling person. It is located next to a gas station (with superette) and the motorway. So it is convenient for a night but not more because it is noisy. The rooms are correct with a view of the lake in the distance and a large bathroom. The shower did not freeze, surely a problem. There is a hand wash and towels. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel, it was closed at the beginning of April.
