Bageshwar

A well maintained clean resort, with clean spacious rooms and bathrooms. The garden is well maintained with flowers all around,  is indeed a treat to your eyes. 
We stayed for 2 nights in deluxe rooms. The view of the himalayan range is exceptional. They have a terrace where one can sit and sip hot cup of tea or coffee.
In-house restaurant is good. The food overall was good. 
The staff is Courteous and polite. 
Ms Swati from Ojaswi hospitality arranged for the site seeing and car for us from Pantnagar to Nainital, Kausani, Chaukori and back to Pantnagar airport. 
Thank you Swatiji for the arrangements. 
The driver, Mr Aman ji is a very humble and sweet fellow. 
All in all we had a great time. 👍 

Excellent property 

Excellent service. Rooms are very good and interiors are well done with wooden panelling. Quite spacious rooms. Staff is very cooperative and bonfire was arranged. Swatiji and Himanshuji are quite professional. Food was prepared as per our requirements. Bathrooms are also well maintained. We were a group of 10 persons and stayed in 4 rooms for 2 nights. We could see the Himalayas from our rooms.

Excellent service and treated well. Well maintained property 

It is a beautifully maintained property located at the beginning of chaukori
It is suitably located at some height so there is a good view of the mountains.
We stayed in super deluxe room for 2 nights. It was a spacious room with all amenities and nice balcony with forest view on one side and mountain view on the other. Although we could not see anything because of the haze caused by forest fires.
Coming to food - it was very good. The taste, quality and portions were so good that it was worth it. We had all our meals here only during our stay. The staff is polite and responsive.
Only one improvement that can be done is lighting in the room. There were just two lights both white - one very dim and other very bright. Having a yellow light would amplify the look of the room.
All in all it was a very comfortable stay.

A comfortable stay

Great location , big well furnished rooms, good view of the Himalayas from the resort, good food and above all a very well mannered, polite and helpful staff. The owner of the resort is very soft spoken and always willing to serve.

Setting an example in hospitality

Wonderful location, good food, best service, very good room. They will make your stay a memorable experience.The view from the rooms are fantastic. The trek to deer 🦌 Park is a must. Also visit the ashram area nearby.

Excellent experience

It was during my second visit to Chaukori that I stayed here. This was May 2013, on our return journey from Munsiyari. The only reason I stayed here was because the KMVN property next door was full. Well as regards the property, it's fairly new. Hence it was clean and well maintained. That was it. Don't have good memories of interacting with the staff there. It would not be wrong to say that they were least interested in what they were supposed to do. Considering there are few options to stay in Chaukori, this property should always be a second choice, unless perhaps the staff has improved their attitude by now.

If you have a better option avoid this property

Ojaswi resort is a budget hotel at Chaukori . It’s better than many other options available there but still quite basic and not very clean. The staff doesn’t even try to help the guests out or even attempt to understand her requirement . The plug points are useless in the rooms. The food is okay. The rooms are clean but the quilts and duvets kept inside the cupboards for guest use don’t seem to be regularly washed.  They do offer amenities like TV, electric kettle , etc inside the rooms and their bathrooms are quite spacious and clean. There’s 24 hours hot water service and the view from the property is quite nice. 
However , the driver accommodation is rather poor. The bedding for them is very dirty & the dormitory is full of smoke. There’s no regulation of that side of property. They don’t even try to make things better when one brings the basic things to their notice such as cleaning of the bathroom and bedding. Overall, the hotel is alright for an overnight stay while going ahead. 


Very average stay , overrated reviews. 

A beautiful quite  place in the lap's of the Himalayas. Room was quite specious and clean and well decorated by nice garden. Food quality was very good. It was a nice stay during our Uttarakhand visit. Special thanks to Mr. Pandey  who encourage us to visit Patal bhubneswar  which was not included our itinerary . Want to visit there again.

V. beautiful resort with beautiful garden..rooms are comfortable n spacious..food is also v.nice...mananger Pandey ji with his hardworking staff is ready to serve you with smile..one can view Himalayan peaks from here... would like to visit again

Pleasant stay

Its an amazing beautiful resort.
A resort in true sense.
Spacious rooms well decorated with gardens around it.
we took the family room which had 2 rooms separated by multiple curtains suitable for a family.
Room linens were also neat and tidy.
Usually this is a stay when people travelling to Munsiyari, take a night halt there.
But worth every penny.
Even food quality is very good and fresh.
