Very nice rooms, I really liked the service, not to mention the OS thing, the sunrise is very beautiful from the room, I want to go as a family too, I can get a jeep to go to Kolukumalak from here, I also got free wifi here, there are only 5 rooms, it is good for family. There is privacy

Supper service & Rooms

We had an amazing time during our stay in Munnar Dreams. The serene, and breathtakingly beautiful surroundings of Chinnakanal was wonderful. Also the manager Mr Ashokan was super friendly, and was an excellent guide.

Budget-friendly, and well connected to major tourist attractions.

It always makes a difference when the manager is super-friendly, and Stanley Matthew was great. Just a fun person with a positive attitude, and he does a very nice Indian breakfast. We didn't always understand each other the first time, but we'd find a different way to phrase things and work it out.

Staying in Chinnakanal is actually better than staying right in Munnar, but while the new highway is being built, it's an hour or so to go the 21 km. Fortunately, there's enough to see and do in and around Chinnakanal and Suriyanelly (the next village). It's all around a large artificial lake. You can visit a tea plantation tour, take some really nice walks, get your ayurvedic massage around the corner, rent a pedal boat on the other side of the lake and then stroll across the scenic-view dam a few hundred meters further, choose from several restaurants in walking distance. You will need to go through Munnar to visit the National Park. The lake area is one of the prettiest places I've ever been.

The hotel is an older building with both charm and quirks. Our room was spacious and had a terrific view from the balcony, though lacking in some of the amenities Westerners may take for granted, including good wi-fi--the connection was very spotty in our room and we could only get one device on the network at a time. But if we went downstairs to the common area, the wi-fi was better.

We stayed 3 days, was awesome experience in Munar. This home stay gave our family very private days and the price was reasonable when we compared with all other in this grade. Thank you for your hospitality.

Best forever

it is a quite and silent place with good road facility in a rocky terrain.  Food served at the restarunt is excellant and tasty. The location is far away from the town and it is quite beautiful for nature lovers in spite of the distance. You have to depend on your own cab..

I stayed with my family in Munnar Dreams home stay for 3 nights. Its a lovely place to stay for families with a good and clear view of misty Munnar. Easily accessible to all tourist locations and feels like your own home during stay.

Awesome Dream Stay in Munnar

I travelled two week back wid my friends,what I like most is the service they gave  us,their assistance and greeting was superb.We got the top room which has good view I n the morning.It was worth my money and I will do come back during winters with my friends as they have promised us special discount.I do recommend this homestay to others

Relaxing stay

We were already on our way from Kochi to Munnar and only one hour away from the homestay when we called up Mr. Koshy. We were very excited about the stay at the Munnar Dreams Homestay, as the reviews were pretty nice and the view seemed to be fantastic. We had everything confirmed via email and talked to him on the phone to reserve our stay. We were traveling with both our parents, who were exhausted due to the long journey, traffic and the road conditions. So an hour away from the homestay, we called him up and wanted to let him know that we will arrive a little bit later at night (around 10pm). First his colleague picked up the phone and let us know that there is no reservation under our name. Then, he called us up himself to confirm the same thing. Even after telling him that we have spoken on the phone and we also have emails to prove that we made a booking with him, he told us that he has already rented out the space. Therefore, we were "on the streets" at 10pm on a long weekend, all hotels fully booked. We spent hours driving, stopping at min. of 15 hotels, before we finally found an alternative for one night. The next night we had to find other hotels, as we booked the homestay for 4 nights in total. It was unnecessary stress that we tried to avoid by planning ahead. Do not recommend this homestay, as it is apparently unreliable.
