Swaraj Dweep

The Property does not have a private beach but it was mentioned in the Room facility almost in all the websites. It was too costly. Anish who is the Resort Manager was too rude when enquiring about the Cancellation of the room for one day. we booked the resort for 4 days and wanted to cancel the last day. We were in a tough situation where in, our ferry was about to cancel and our flight was preponed,   we decided to vacate the room last day. He did not help us, as we were the only family to stay at the resort. He dint want to lose that one day rent and denied our request. we were having kids and they were not well. Even after explaining the situation, he dint bother to listen to it and help us. The property was not so good. it lacked cleanliness. they charged too much for nothing.

Bad experience with Wild orchid

We were there to celebrate our 25th anniversary. We have booked 2 rooms as my two daughters are with us. Rooms were clean and beautiful. Well decorated. Manager Raj is very sweet and helpful. Infact all the staff was good. Breakfast was good. They can improve that for sure. But good thing is zero wastage of food. Location is great. You can reach the beautiful beach in 5 minutes walk. Across the road there is a Kathmandu restaurant. We had all are meals there. It was delicious.  I really enjoyed the stay in wild orchid. Thanks for the great hospitality.

Wild orchid Havelock

The hotel usually has deals at 4k odd, we paid more than double since it was a last minute new year booking…which is understandable.

The property would’ve probably been great at one time, I think the COVID period has taken quite the toll. The owner needs to ensure a revamp very quickly to ensure they are servicing their customers well and thus more business. Quick things that can/ need to be done -
1. The place looks nothing like the pictures, pl renovate quickly for it to start looking like them.
2. There is stagnant water around and thus a lot of mosquitoes. Seems like a disease house.
3. Reopen the much talked about restaurant.
4. Not overcharge before things have been put in order

The staff - specially Bhaskar and the restaurant head - Saurabh are pretty hands on, sensible and nice…they implemented feedback quite quickly-  Breakfast has flies all over it the first day, when we gave feedback, from the next day onwards everything was served from stove to table…great experience. The rest is none to talk home about. 

More so, we feel cheated by the owner for the price and overcharging.

2. Many better properties are available for the same price. Even ones on the beach

Great staff but the property is nothing to talk home about

We stayed in challet room with nice view. Property was very neat and clean well maintained. View is soo good from our room. Food was amazing in taste. Wifi is very limited that need to improve. Thanks to khushboo and Karishma at front desk they are very helpful. Over all our stay was amazing. We enjoyed alot 

Vacation at Seashell

I had the most wonderful experience at the Wild Orchid Resort. The staff are superb, nothing is too much trouble and service is completed with a smile. The rooms are really beautiful and priced fairly. Hot water was available 24/7, the wifi was excellent and all really helped me. I had to move rooms a few times and the staff helped me with my luggage. Tea and coffee making facilities are in the rooms as well.

The location is excellent, surrounded by all of the Havelock eateries and dive shops. The resort's own restaurant Fat Martin has some of the best fresh food on the island, I would really recommend it.

Bhaskor particularly was excellent and responsive to any questions and issues that I was having. I would really recommend this hotel. As a solo female, I felt extremely safe and the staff went out of their way to ensure that.

Wonderful, clean and hospitable!

We want to wholeheartedly recommend the Wild Orchid!  We had an amazing experience.  An inviting, decorated, beautiful, clean and pleasant place.  The entire staff and Raj the manager were so nice and helpful and made sure we didn't miss anything.  The food in the bakery and restaurant is amazing!  We had a great time and we hope to come back soon :)

Perfect place!

We booked Wild Orchid for 7 nights and what a wonderful stay it was. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is extremely warm and caring. Mr. Rajdeep, the manager is excellent with customer service and his hospitality- he took care of personal exigencies, earlier breakfast requirements etc and this personal care is the reason I’d keep coming back to Wild Orchid.

Great stay

I had a great stay in Wild Orchid. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, the staff were amazing and very good location near beach no.5 near the restaurants.

great stay at Wild Orchid

Good - Tastefully made rooms. Recently renovated. Awesome food at the fat Martin restaurant. They have an in-house bakery. So you would wake up to the smell of freshly baked goods. Do try their muffins - moist and tasty. GM from pune was very hospitable and made us feel welcomed at all times

Bad - I had moved to this resort as their another property I had booked (emerald gecko) was in a bad shape. I had posted a google review of my experience at that resort. Due to that, Anish (from the booking team) tried to overcharge me at the time of check out. Had a 15min illogical argument which ended at why I posted the review on google rather than calling anish. Super disappointed by the attitude

Decent property. Good restaurant. Horrible booking office management

I had visited Wild Orchid Resort back in Nov 2021. The breakfast was delicious, rooms clean, Room staff extremely polite. But most importantly staff SANJAY was extremely helpful, courteous and kind to us. I had given Sanjay a personalized gift before leaving for his EXCELLENT services. It is because of people like him I will be visiting Wild Orchid and staying there again.
