Nashik

Khimji is bang in the center of old Nashik with the Godavari Ghat and several old temples being a mere walking distance from here.  The rooms are spacious and clean.  They also offer breakfast, lunch and dinner along with the tariff.  It is a no garlic, no onion fare.  The breakfast is limited to poha and upuma and the latter could definitely do with some improvement.  The variety of lunch and dinner is limited but the food is wholesome.  They are quite strict about the timings which can sometimes be an inconvenience.  Tea and coffee out of timings is not served.
Overall I would definitely recommend this place for a couple of days stay to explore old Nashik.

Clean and comfortable stay in old Nashik

This was an amazing hotel to put up at, in the lovely heritage and temple precinct of Nashik. The location of the hotel Is absolutely fabulous, right on the banks of River Godavari and cheek by jowl with the ancient temples on the riverbanks. 
The hotel itself is a modern and spacious structure, very well-managed and neatly kept. The rooms are very spacious and we took good advantage of it’s very comfortable common areas to sit around and chat as a large group. 
The banquet halls therein are also pretty nice and it was especially handy for us to have the stay and the function(wedding) at the same venue. They managed our large batch of people pretty efficiently in terms of check-in, drivers’ accommodation ( available in-house at a nominal cost ) and overall service. 
The kitchen and it’s staff are absolutely praise-worthy. I had here some of the best vegetarian fare I’ve ever had and the service is very hospitable. They even very obligingly kept the kitchen open and active well beyond their set timings for a group of some 22 people from our party, so that freshly prepared and hot food could be served to them!
The manager Mr. Bharat Thakkar was also very helpful. All in all, our whole group had a lovely and memorable experience staying over 2 nights at this lovely jewel of a hotel!

Amazing jewel of a hotel in Panchvati Nashik

The Hotel is well placed right next to Ram Ghat with enough car park. Its kept clean and all staff are very friendly and dedicated in serving people. The food served here deserves best appreciation for being fresh and original delicacy. Rooms are big and good for family. Located close to most of the temples around panchavati.

Well placed!

The rooms are fairly large, well maintained. Clean washrooms. It isnt a super luxurious stay. But you get just enough for a comfortable stay. The location is fantastic if you wish to visit Panchavati. And the food is awesome. A morning tea, breakfast, lunch and dinner, all served hot and fresh. It offers a stay facility for your driver. And has some parking space too.

Great Location, Clean Rooms and sumptuous food

This is not a Hotel, its a guest house managed by gujrati Lohana community. This place is well maintained and managed very well. Clean big rooms, clean lobby and clean dining area and they also have good seating arrangement outside the dining area as well as the reception( which is just on the left as you come out of the dining area) . The staff is very polite and helpful. The price is inclusive of food (tea/breakfast, lunch, evening tea & dinner) they serve very basic & hygienic food. They serve upma & poha alternately for breakfast for lunch they serve roti, sabzi, dal, rice & similarly for dinner they serve khichdi, kadhi, bhakri, sabzi. They strictly follow Timing such as breakfast : 7am to 9am
                                    Lunch : 12pm to 2pm
                                    Tea : 4 pm to 5pm
                                    Dinner : 7pm to 9pm
We were a group of 15 adults & 5 kids so we felt this was the ideal place for us and really it was a great experience here. 

Best place in Nashik 

Myself along with my family had stayed here for a day on our trip to Trimbakeshwar & would say that it is an excellent property overlooking the Godavari (& very close to Ramkund, the Sangam Area) being maintained by Mr. Thacker & his very courteous staff. 

Not only is it very well maintained & very clean, which would be the strongest attributes of this place, but they also serve very hygienic 'shakahari' food for breakfast, lunch as well as dinner. Really touched by the fact though we arrived 2 hours after their lunch time, they still served us lunch with a smiling face.. 

To add on, the rooms are bigger than normal with air conditioning facility, bathrooms are big & clean with hot water available (solar gysers). Also the major temples are at walking distance from this place. Just a word of caution for old & aged people is that the lift is located in between the ground & first floor. 

I would definitely come back to this place & would strongly recommend to families who would want to 'feel at home' in Nashik.

A home to stay in Panchawati, Nashik !!

Very good location just opposite RAM KUND, ie centrally located, room are very spacious and well maintained & very clean food is very well homely prepared + here onions & garlic are not used to the food is very satvik staff is very polite & water supply is 24 hrs 

Relax holidays

We stayed here for 1 night in a deluxe river facing room with balcony. It was too noisy to sit out on the balcony but lovely to look down on the river & activity on the ghats below. It would have been quieter on the other side of the hotel, but then we wouldn't have had the view. The room was exceptionally spacious as was the bathroom, extremely clean & well furnished with tea & coffee making facilities. We found the food very tasty; there was plenty of it & we weren't charged any extra for additional items - in fact the staff came round trying to give us more at each meal. The room where we ate was small but very friendly as we needed to share tables, but we are always happy in a friendly, less formal environment. The location was excellent for sightseeing & enjoying the atmosphere of the ghats. This was excellent value for the standard provided.

Excellent view & location

As i already said that it is a clean and well maintained Dharamshala and not a Hotel.
The things which i found quite strange here are:-

1) Check In Time      13:00
    Check Out Time    10:00
The first Hotel that i have seen has a checkout of 21 hours.

2) Food has a Timing
  Breakfast    07:00 - 09:00
  Lunch          12:00 - 14:00
  Dinner          19:00 - 21:00

And only you will get those food which is cooked by them only. No Ala-Carte.

In breakfast you will either get poha or upma JUST One small plate. If you need extra plate, they will charge you. If you need extra tea, they will charge you

In lunch or dinner you will get one sabji one dal chapati and rice thats it.

3) There is no Bisleri avalable, they will give you there own RO water in JUG.

4) If you have a vehicle they will charge you parking fees

5) If you go and ask anything apart fron what they offer, they will straight away say NO.

6) We had kids along with us, who didnt liked their food, we asked them can we make some own food for them, they said NO. After lot of persuasion they finally agreed on the next day.

7) It was like a strict school Hostel

8) The 99% public who visit this hotel are Gujrati Lohana Community

9) Since this hotel is near to Ramghat, where people come to perform the last rituals of their family members hence it suites their requirements as they need this kind of simple food etc.

But i have no grudges with the Hotel, as it is their hotel and they have their own rules. I am angry with the Trip planning websites who have given this a good rating and quoted it as a hotel

Its a Clean Dharamshala Not a Hotel

It is a guesthouse run by a Gujarati trust bang opposite and overlooking the heart of the old city, Ramkund. Book a "Deluxe Room with Balcony, River Facing" for the best experience (if you can overlook the litter and muck on the sprawling ghats visible from your room's Nativity balcony).

The rooms are spacious and clean, though we find the foam beds with spring loaded bases not very comfortable. 

The booking is compulsorily with all meals included, which are spartan, veg only, garlic and onion free but well cooked, tasty and refreshing. 

Be prepared for no room service and the first cup of tea being available at 7.30 only, that too in their dining room on the second floor.

To avoid any misunderstanding, be aware that car parking is covered convenient and secure but charged at ₹100+GST per day.

Once you settle down in the room, your will find most of the places of religious significance within short walking distance.
