The main advantage of this hotel is its location, it's just a 3-minute walk to the beach. Below is a cafe, you can order food in the room. It's very tasty! You can order fish in advance, it's fresh! The shrimps were always fresh. Most dishes can be ordered for two. (begin the morning with a dessert hello to the queen and cups of massala tea - priceless)) For non-English speakers, it will also be a big plus that the manager Vibor speaks Russian (which is rare for India), he is very kind and always helpful.

A great hotel for your money.

The area is red sand with paths, the sand is periodically irrigated so that there is no dust. The worst hotel I've ever seen in Mandrem, especially at this price.

The quiet horror

The hotel was very nice. We walked 10 minutes to the sea. We really liked the administrator of Vibor who helped us solve all the questions. The rooms were cleaned on demand. They responded to the request right away. The money was kept in the common safe (you don't have to take a large spring lock, to close your cell in the common safe). The hotel has no theft. The hotel has its own cafe. Everything is tasty and cheap. We rested with the kids and they found something to eat. No one had an upset stomach.

Only to the Shankarz Hotel

It's a great hotel for unpretentious tourists. There's no closet in the room, but it's not needed in Goa.) Room cleaning is done on request, isn't it? Mr. Vibor is a beautiful, responsive person. When he settled, he explained the situation with the numbers, offered to move to the second floor in a couple of days. Helped us get the forgotten iPhone back in the taxi! Thank you so much for the warm reception and the pleasant communication. Next time - only in this hotel.

It's a great hotel.

The rooms were completely without cabinets, the clothes were kept on the shoulders, the clothes were far from white. In everything else it is quite normal, there are not even cockroaches and ants. Master Vibor is above all praise-smart, responsive and autumn friendly without prejudice. To the sea some 200 m, the beach is good, garbage is of course there, but mostly the tourists themselves do not clean after themselves. Especially enjoyed the food in the hotel, really tasty and there is Russian cuisine (thaw, cassava, pancakes), menimo, that is, pelvin, were very well prepared! The exit is a minimum of convenience and cheap. Only for the sake of the host we are ready to come back there again!

A cozy hotel by the sea

The water in the shower is just cold, it's impossible to live on the first floor, there's no closet, no shelves, no hangers, only a table, there's been no Wai-Fai for three days, only tea for breakfast and toast without oil and jam.

I chose Mandrem as i had to visit a temple in Pernem.Found Shankarz by the sea close to the beach and voila ! Shankarz is a very basic, budget hotel, biggest advantage is its just 2 mins from the beach.We got 2 AC rooms on the 2nd floor (no lift) with a sea view , not a huge sea view but yes you get to see the sea from the balcony, some trees around and some shacks.The room,bed and bathroom were clean.Service was good and the staff was polite. Manager Vibhor was very co-operative and he arranged the cab for us for local travel to Pernem.He owns the restaurant there and the breakfast was very good,bit over priced. But overall the food and transport was high on the cost.Mandrem is an extremely beautiful ,clean ,white sand beach far from the crowds.There are no food shacks on the beach. You will find some foreigners.The closest restaurants(and bar) to Shankarz are Junas 9 and Bed rock and food was good there.We spent much of the time at the beach and hotel.If its Christmas, do not miss the dance party at Blueberry Hill,Verna Plateau. Band Archies and Pure Magic performed and it was awesome. Shankarz by the sea is recommended.

Christmas in Goa!

There are things not related to the hotel - the electricity is always turned off and the wifi almost doesn't work at night. The sea is a minute walk, tedious, but delicious breakfasts. Often they ordered dinner, everything was pleasant. In the evening they sat down in a restaurant with their drinks and fruits.

Normal hotel for North Goa

So you're right here if 1) you're a Morge and you like to clap after the sea in cold water showering waking guests.. 3) you love in the morning tea cooked under all the rules of the Matros silence (night on slow fire) - yet you'll be sworn to promise everything will be fixed within three days of your departure:). 2) you're from Permian, you're 20-25, you like to smoke, throw a litre 2 and at 3 o'clock at night demand to open a safe or drop 100 rupees to pay for a taxi to wake guests.. 3) you love in the morning tea cooked under all the rules of the Matros silence (night on slow fire here) But I can note that after paragraph 2 it's really good to pull it up to 1800 at night. 4) you're ready to get a bag of yogurt! you're ready to get a bag of bags on your doorstep and we're ready to put you in a big room with two bags of gasoline in the back of your life (and you're not going to get all the money in the back of your

Couple for the crazy money.

Visiting Goa at it's best. Close to the beach (200m), restaurants, bars, shops etc., this hotel offers a 1 step up from the bamboo beach huts that are closer to the beach. Staff is cool and welcoming. Food the serve is excellent and always fresh. Rooms are simple but offer what you need.
