I visited with my family in November. Staff is very helpful, food is great and location is excellent. Highly recommend to stay at this hotel as it walking distance from Guhagar beach. Clean rooms. Great view (of surrounding hills and farms) from the room which has big windows.

Excellent location

Very nice, clean rooms, we stayed at Luxurious category. Location is very close to market and Vyadeshwar Mandir, 2 min by car. Beach is also at walkable distance.
Excellent veg food, especially breakfast.
Courteous and attentive staff, gave special non spicy food for our little one.

Family Trip

Highlights:
Nice,hygienic accomodation, especially very close to the beach..
City area, Temples, market at walkable distance ...
We had opted for full package breakfast and meals which was quite reasonable...
Other few good food joints also at walking distance..

Low-light:
The meals served had fixed menu for both the days which since it was as per the package, that can be little modified especially the veg menu..
All in all good

Year End Plan!

Hotel Sewinds Guhagar. One of best hotel to stay in guhagar. It's 1 km from main market and very close to guhagar beach. Calm, quite and we'll maintained hotel is perfect for families. At evening you can visit beach and temple near beach which at walkable distance from hotel. Last but not the least it's staff. They are very helpful.

We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Sea Winds , Guhagar in November 2019 ( 7th - 9th ).

We liked almost each nd everything ...the clean nd spacious rooms , food , room service , staff etc. 

We will mention 2 names who helped us a lot.. Mahajan Madam at Thane office nd Suyog at the hotel reception desk.

The hotel is a few minutes away from the beach.So location-wise it is excellent.

We have decided to stay at Hotel Sea Winds everytime in future .

I will recommend Hotel Sea Winds to those who want a nice , comfortable stay at Guhagar .

A very comfortable stay.

Visited in the month of October 2019 with family. Nice hotel. Clean rooms and very well maintained property. Staff was very cooperative. Food was excellent. Overall enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend

Nice property..Had a pleasant stay

I travel frequently and always stay at Seawinds because their rooms and washrooms are very clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful and they have a lovely garden in the front. The hotel is right across from the beach (200 mtrs away). They have ample parking.
During the summer and monsoon months, suggested to go for AC room due to high heat and humidity. Winter months are very pleasant.
Only drawbacks -
1. The food menu is homestyle and food has to be ordered in advance.
2. Had a bad experience once when there was a power cut at 3 am and the generator was not switched on for about 20 mins.

A clean & well maintained hotel

It is nice little place to stay at Guhagar with car parking and a garden in front. We ordered Fish lunch on a day and it was delicious, prepared by locals with Konkan masala. The room may not be spacious but for this budget it was well maintained & clean.

A good budget hotel.

Excellant place to stay, Big rooms & proper amenities, friendly staff. Cooking dept is superb. Pre-order your food they will give fresh stuff. (Based on reviews we tried Annapurna restaurant - it was waste of money). Overall enjoyed the stay

PERFECT PLACE GUHAGAR

Really impressed with the location, ambience and the food quality at Sea Winds ! We were 3 of us - My wife, me and 2.5 yr daughter and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience for a couple of days in mid may. The beach is a mere 5 min walk from the hotel

The room was spacious, clean and well maintained. The food is to be ordered earlier since they cook only what is ordered; but it was indeed a delight - esp the ‘Ukadiche Modak’ :) 

How to Reach: Get down at Chiplun railway station. There are 2 main ways:
1) You can take a bus (the Chiplun stand is few km away from the railway station - autos charge around 100) to Guhagar bus stand. It’s 45 km away and the journey will be around 1.5 hrs. Buses ply every half an hour. From Guhagar stand, auto will take 30 rupees to the hotel

2) Directly take an auto from Chiplun station to the hotel. The charge will be around 1000 rupees ! (Quite obviously, we chose the first option)
