We had one of the most surreal experiences while staying here. 
The houseboat was exquisite! Adnan's (Owner of the houseboats) hospitality was unmatched. We were taken for a tour around the area and the experience was truly one of its kind! 
From the houseboat, you get to see the gorgeous mountains all around and at night the twinkling lights of houseboats look magical! 
One of the best I have had the pleasure of experiencing , would recommend this over and over. 

Surreal, gorgeous and best vibes!

The first experience of houseboat stay was more than I expected. I really love the rooms and food. 
I would really like to appreciate extra efforts of the host Adnan.
The staff is very courteous and humble and welcoming. 
I love to come again and stay here for few days. 
The vibe is worth coming again here. 

Amazing

It was such a nice experience at the houseboat , one of our family members fell sick and they immediately helped us at night 10:00 Adnan specially came with us and his team to take our member to the nearest hospital. It totally felt like we were at our home having such a family experience and still we fell that in kashmir there is lot of humanity and love each other because we feel that we were one of them.

The food taste is purely tasty just like our homes,
the owner Adnan himself comes to receive us at the Shikara ghat
the total experience is like a resort they have bathtubs a seperate dining hall and kitchen also plus a living room. 

The view is pretty beautiful from the houseboat. 

A very welcoming experience and highly recommended Akbar Group Houseboats in Nigeen lake.

The house boat is well maintained . The personalized service by the staff and owner Mr Adnan  is way too good. Highly recommend be it for family vacation or for chilling out with friends . The view from the boat is spectacular . Will visit again and again 

4 day  stay at a heavenly heritage  houseboat Of Akbar Group

I am staying in Akbar group of heritage house for the third time here. First time I came with family and totally enjoyed the hospitality of Adnan, the owner and all the staffs and cook. Second time we came to stay here before our trek kgl. After our trek we needed a place to stay before our flight and we again came here , because it became a home to us. The minute we entered the boat house we felt home. Adnan is a gem of a person , treated us as a family and gave all the good care,and good food. Coming to the boat house it looks very neat and clean and looks very royal too.. I can't wait to visit again and already suggested to so many people . It's a must visit place . In one word it is HOME AWAY FROM HOME ♥️

This is my 2nd visit to the place. The hospitality of the owner Adnan Bhai and our transport Umer bhai was very helpful and the property is excellent. I am here second time because of the people here. I highly recommend the stay here at akbar houseboats. We would definitely love to return back because this is a home away from home ☺️

Adnan was really helpful and his recommendations was amazing he arranged driver (Umar Wangnoo) for my trip who was really patient and kind with us and he helped us every where when it comes to food, points to visit and totally deserves 5 stars each was amazing, comfortable and hospitable, would totally recomend Umar and his suggestions. Akbar group of heritage houseboats are really beautiful well crafted and unique experience must stay there. apart from adnan and his company i personally find kashmir really good place ( heaven on earth) i was here with my wife, mom.

Your heritage houseboats is so beautiful and very neet and clean, special thanks for your polite and supportive nature. Your houseboat feel us like we was in our home, hot delicious food, clean bedrooms and washrooms with bathtub.
   What a morning that day was when I woke up I saw the birds are chirping, fishes are playing in the lake, so many other things from Houseboat front balcony and it has many memories of us. Unforgettable Memories And Lifetime Experience In Kashmir 

Mr. Adnan has managed the property really well and We were welcomed by him, who took us through the houseboat and explaind us all  things of heritage houseboats... The property is beautiful and extremely well maintained, Special thanks to Mr. Mudassar for being such a nice host and provided us with all the amenities that one crave for a five star property, heating system was really awesome , while we enjoyed snowfall in our real life and that time the Kashmir was looked like a heaven on Earth...
  We had a early check out at 6 am but despite that breakfast was ready for us at 5:30 am. 
    If you are searching for a comfortable and mesmerizing property, then Akbar Group of Heritage houseboats is the one and only stop.  Ask for Mr. Adnan and he will make your stay really comfortable and mesmerizing..
 I highly recommend this place to Family and couples tourists.
