Our family stayed at Bagh Tola for 3 days this summer. We made reservations via email and online payments, which was a managed well by Kanchan who provided us with a lot of information that we had asked for. Communication was prompt and courteous via email, text and calls. They also helped of reserve safaris in the park. The property is beautiful and made for a very comfortable stay in their nicely appointed and clean rooms. Eric who manages the property is a great guy,  who ensured that our needs were more than met. There is limited wifi on the property but that's part of a quite stay at a jungle resort. The dining choices were great, with each meal carefully prepared keeping our requests in mind, especially the fresh baked muffins and cookies that the kids loved. Early morning safaris included a nice breakfast in the forest. Managing a world class resort in the heart of Chhattisgarh is no small feat and done very well by the Bagh Tola team. We would stay again and highly recommend. 

 Jio works best in the area, as far as cellular networks go, BSNL and Airtel did not work for us.

Fantastic place to stay in Kanha Kisli area

The lodge is simple but rooms have everything one needs for comfort. The place is run very well by the D’Cunhas, Eric and Joy. Eric is a very experienced and superb Naturalist, very well respected by fellow guides and local people. Joy makes excellent desserts, and runs the place very efficiently. The 
food in the lodge is excellent. Both are very friendly and hospitable and kind and put you at ease right away. 


Great stay.

This property is nestled close to the Mukki gate - Kanha national park. It has a patch of the Sal forest and some beautiful bougainvilleas and bamboo trees. It truly felt like home away from home for us. The chef went out of his way and with Joy’s suggestions cooked us healthy but yummy meals made with local produce. We had jaggery based sweets severed and the cakes Joy baked and packed for our morning picnic breakfast was truly amazing. 

Eric has a vast knowledge of the forest and the history and its tigers. We had an amazing time interacting and learning more about the park. 

Our driver Vikram was very informed himself and we ended up with two sightings. One included two cubs as well. 

Recommend this place and we will be planning our return soon!

Amazing place

Eric and Joy made us really welcome and made sure that we were very comfortable and sufficient for our needs including milk for our tea whenever we wanted. Eric as our guide and driver took us off on our morning and afternoon safaris. Lodge was well appointed with good aircon. 
Restaurant was anxious to make sure we had the type of food that we wanted. All the young men who worked there were very helpful.
It was also wonderful that we managed to see three tigers thanks to the efforts of Eric and his driver who has some excellent eyesight!

Wonderful stay and gaming experience

It’s located in the middle of farmlands and lush small forest. Just 15mins drive from Mukki gate. And the drive through the village and sal forest is amazing. 

The hotel itself got it own charm. It got 8 rooms. We had 6 of them to ourself. A small library where you can play board games and talk about the animal sightings. The lunch place looks like a small chapel. Very personal and cute. 

The property is taken care a nice couple Eric and Joy. Eric is been there for 35 years so he really helped us in many many thing including last minute changes for gates to helping us with extra jeep. Really helpful chap. 
Joy was amazing with surprising us with great food everyday. Good home made food, but good verity. 
A good choice for veg also.
Best part was everyday they panned a small picnic breakfast for us in the Kanha. The rest of the staff like Deepak, Mathew, driver Vikram and the rest are amazing. 

It was a great break for us. We had 7 children from 17yr old to 5 year old. All of them had a blast at the property. If the weather is good they can do Bon fire for u. 

I will definitely come back. Thanks Eric and Joy for making the trip special.

A true INDIAN SUMMER home

Tip: Mukki is one of the best places to stay in Kanha. If you’ve come to experience wilderness and tranquility of the jungle, mukki is the place to be. 

Consider this over any other overpriced properties in Kanha. Loved the staff and managers. The Place where you will feel at home.

We stayed at Bagh Tola for 4 days. We had a wonderful experience. The lodge is beautiful, lush green and homely. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful and polite. A special mention for Eric n his wife Joy who made our stay memorable. The food and ambience was good. Thank you so much for making us feel at home Eric n joy.

Our stay at Bahgtola was absolutely amazing. The serene property , the amazing staff , the very friendly manager Eric and lovely Joy made our stay very comfortable. They went out of their way to make our celebrations memorable . The proximity to the park and the beautifully done up property was just perfect for our holiday. Hope to visit soon.

A home in the jungle

The hotel is small, charming and dedicated to people who like safaris. Eric and Joy, the managers, are charming.The rooms are very good, clean, big and with everything you need. Outside there is an area with benches where you can lie down, read a book, have a drink and warm yourself with a small bonfire. 
This is not a place to party. It is a place to do safaris, return to the hotel, rest and have a nice dinner. The food is very good. Eric and Joy sit at the table. You talk, you eat and you feel like you're at home. I am a nature lover. I have done safaris around the world. A hotel like this is exactly what I am looking for in these situations. In addition, Samnapur, the village where the hotel is located, is a quiet place where you can take a walk and see the quiet life of its inhabitants. 100% recommendable.
By the way, the game drive in Kanha National Park is wonderful!

The perfect hotel for nature lovers

An excellent place to unwind from the daily hustle bustle of city life ......set in the midst of a village background the location is just breath taking with nature all around .
I would recommend this to those who want to reset their mind and soul .

The place is run by a couple with their many local helping hands and are very sweet and accommodating and take care of you like family.
