This place is about passable and if you only want a bed then fine. I’d say you’d get a breed double room for same price in some of the hostels in Dublin.  I’ve stayed at least 5/6 times but it be my least favourite place if I can’t get anywhere. I’d suggest paying an extra 10/20€ and go elsewhere

This hotel is beautiful very clean the staff are very respectful, nice and friendly, our room has sauna it’s excelent and it is in good location, you can go to many places easily because is in good location

If you're looking for a bed to sleep in and a warm shower to use while you spend the rest of your time exploring all that Dublin has to offer, this place is perfect!
The price is really cheap, and you get what you pay for when it comes to the rooms.  I wouldn't call the employees friendly or even hospitable, but they do their job.  
Don't plan on getting a full nights sleep -- you can hear EVERYTHING going on in the streets below at every hour.  
If you're coming to Dublin to enjoy the Temple Bar nightlife, the location is definitely worth the hotel's lack of charm. And there is a really great slice of pizza by the entrance to the hotel if you come back drunk and hungry.
Bottom line -- if you're a night owl looking to party at Temple Bar until the early morning, stay at Bridge House.  Especially if you're a student/casual traveler and you're used to hostels -- you at least get your own room and bathroom at Bridge House!
If you're looking for a full nights sleep, aesthetic decor, and welcoming staff, do not book the Bridge House!

Amazing location

Booked 9 months in advance for St Patricks day through hotels.com. Hotel cancelled several months later because of "problems with credit card" which is just a stupid excuse. Confirmed with Amex that there were no failed transactions, so they obviously just cancels the rooms booked at lower rates because of overbooking or selling the room to someone else at a higher rate. Many calls to hotels.com, but haven't sorted out the issue yet. My friends got their rooms cancelled as well, but because of "renovations". So they obviously do this systematically with different made up excuses.

This hotel cancels your bookings!

The only thing that can be salvaged from this hotel is the location, which is really excellent. The rest is a disaster. There is no elevator, the stairs are narrow and steep, the staff won't help you with anything. The small rooms, with a smell of fried all day and the bathroom doesn't work. The striking were the floors that were raised and with carpets upstairs. The wifi didn't reach the room.

A place to stay.

I have stayed at this hotel lots of times in previous years, until the past year and always thought it was cheap and cheerful until now!! Me, my family and friends have booked this hotel 3 times this year and every time we have arrived at the hotel there has been some sort of ''Emergency'' or ''over booking'' situation. The hotel has then moved us to several accommodations in areas we did not want to stay in which were taxi rides away. How is this hotel getting away with doing this? Telling us the day before would have been better but the inconvenience they have caused us on each weekend is appalling. The reception staff are not even sympathetic of the situation and need to learn some manners!!!

BEEN OVERBOOKED 3 TIMES NOW!!!

The hostel is in the heart of Dublin, two blocks from the Temple Bar and many bars a few metres away. read opinions that the noise of the area would prevent you from sleeping, but I didn't feel anything at least being on the last floor. the main problem is its small stairs leading to the first floor, which are narrow and steep. the rest of the floors are accessed by stairs but these are the best.

Excellent location

I was at Amsterdam Airport three hours before boarding for Dublin, and when I saw my emails and a message saying that Bridge House had simply canceled my booking without a plausible justification that it was already paid for six nights, and to make matters worse, they still claimed they didn't have to relocate me to another hotel, so I called the company that booked me via Skype from Amsterdam Airport and they managed to place me in a hotel in Stillorgan farther away, and in short: even though it's the cheapest, it's not worth the risk, it's a lot of disruption.

We booked before reading reviews,and were extremely worried when we later read reviews,but neednt have ,everything went fine..Location is spot on ,right at the edge of Temple Bar,  rooms ok, linen changed daily,staff very friendly.To people moaning about the noise dont book at  Temple Bar,book a bed and breakfast in the countryside...We enjoyed our stay .Access,, 24 hours a day, .no problem coming back late at night,would stay again..We arrived early and left late and leaving our luggage was not a problem at all,very helpfull..

grandsons 18th birthday present

The location near Temple Bar is unbeatable, in the middle of the action! The staff was partly friendly. The hotel itself is already a little underground. Sliding, old rooms. Clear-heard, loud and noisy. FlipFlop's are a must. Warm water in the shower is a lucky thing - it can work, but it doesn't have to... Not even for sensitive noses.
