Very pleasant B&B, ideal for visiting the valley of Asti especially in September during the sacred period and the oldest Palio in Italy. The old part completely renovated with taste has a lot of charm....but most of this establishment is the exceptional hospitality of its owner who is taking little care of his guests.

Take care of yourself!

I've spent a weekend in this b&b and I must say that few times have I felt so cocolated. Even when you walk in and around the structure you can feel the love that the owners have for their work and for their customers. So much attention to the furniture, the atmosphere, the service... the catering is excellent, dishes of Astivan tradition cooked with care and served with the warmth and delicacy that also make meals a really pleasant time. Around a quiet countryside, hills and so much peace... and so much to see... if you're into it!

...but how much attention!

My wife and I stayed at this hotel in August last year during our return from a do-it-yourself vacation in Valle d'Aosta and France. To emphasize the kindness and availability of the owners you can evaluate from the story I'm about to do. As we entered from France through the now-flowing Fréjus, we found some tail and we returned to Italy after 20 hours. At the first autogrill we stopped to make dinner and decide where to spend the night; we consulted booking.com with our cell phone and, since we wanted to stop at Asopoti, we also had to contact the tower asking if we could book a reservation for the night (without booking) and if we had arrived at the exact same price later that day. So we arrived from the website of the same day.

A great hotel to visit

Located a few kilometers from the centre of Asti, a quiet place to stay overnight.

Very polite staff

Spotless rooms, great breakfast, small gifts upon leaving, charming hosts. He is older and speaks French, she is younger and just spoke Italian to us. If you want a heart-warming story, askabout her son, although I don't know how good her English is. And just 30 metres down the lane is a fantastic wonderfully decorated restaurant, La Carrozza, in what used to be a railway station. We took the 28€ menu di degustazione and were very satisfied. 
The only downside is the traffic. It may be a little noisy for people who sleep with the window open, although the traffic does ease up at night. If the little - and almost abandoned- village  ever gets the long-awaited ring road, the situation will be much improved.

Lovely hosts, great restaurant nearby

Good quality price, 10 minutes from downtown Asti, clean rooms and very polite owners, available on demand, I recommend it to anyone in the work area, and a good restaurant within walking distance.

We used this structure as the starting point for our goals: taste room in Turin, sacred of the Alba truffle and some small villages of the Langhe in the Astijan hills. Our room was small but clean and well furnished. The gentle, available owners and attentive to our needs.
