We stayed in 4 in the monolocale (castle bed + sofa bed); the apartment is really very nice, recently renovated and all made of wood. Large and spacious bathroom, with very comfortable shower. The kitchen (at view) has everything necessary (oven, dishwasher, coffee machine) and is best equipped. Ideal location to go skiing (a few steps from the oval to Bormio 2000) and city centre easily accessible on foot.

It's a great stay.

At the last moment, orphans of our usual holidays in Upper Adige, we decided not to spend forced holidays among the domestic ones, but to move for a few days to Valtellina, in Bormio, then staying in Lombardy. The solution of the holiday in the house was the one that best suited to the circumstances and so we chose Casa Caste. The mansarda placed at our disposal by the family of Clara and Giuseppe turned out to be a magnificent surprise; in addition to being immediately welcoming, it presents a bright, clean, gives a privileged view of the Stelvio mural and a special position, as it is located just outside the center of Bormio, in a quiet residential area, but only a few people are invited to live.

We have been staying at this property for years and the accommodation is always perfect.

I think the caste house is ideally located for skiers. The driveway to Bormio2000 is really a step away, but the centre of the village with its pedestrian path is also easily accessible. The apartments are very clean, we stayed in a two-room apartment on the ground floor, but we were able to explore two more (beautiful especially the mansard triple room); all in comfortable clear wood, warm, very clean, equipped with everything necessary. But the added value is the kindness and availability of the owner Clara, a beautiful proposal for pleasant chatter and sociality without formalisms. A winning choice.

We stayed in the penthouse in five. We were greeted with great kindness by Clara and her family. The beautiful apartment: spacious, very clean is very carefully cared for in the smallest detail with particular attention to the well-being of the guests (e.g. coffee mugs and various teas and The). We felt at home!!! We are very much advised...we hope to return soon! Silvia

Hospitality and hospitality

Just back from a week skiing over Christmas in Bormio with my extended family - 9 people.  Teenager, lots of mid 20’s and a couple of more mature adults !!  It was a great break, lovely ski resort and Clara plus her family and great accommodation were central to this.  We stayed in a large 2 bed apartment and a second 1 bed apt and both were equipped with pull out sofa beds, full kitchens and high quality bathrooms, washing machines, dish washers, etc... as well as a balcony with view of the ski slopes for the World Cup downhill race!!  Friendly, high quality apartments with anything we needed 100 m to ski lifts and 5 min walk to town.  We were well able to cook Christmas dinner and feed a large gang due to facilities and equipment.  The town was lively with good restaurants and occasional bar.  Everyone we dealt with could not have been more helpful. Big call out to OKGo for ski gear rental - Marianna was brilliant, Elma Viaggi taxis for transfers and Scuola Ski Nazionale (Francesco) for ski lessons

Christmas Ski Holiday Bormio 

Welcome at the level of the Grand Hotels...but what I say, probably in those places such palpable and natural human warmth would almost certainly be hard to find!!! Not to mention fantastic structure and cared for to the smallest detail by the carpenter husband. Great position, beautiful view. Boiler x tisane, coffee machines x is normal and with capsules... necessary x the kitchen present... washing machine, new dishwashers, phon and wood in sight everywhere!!! What more can I say?

Something wonderful.

We were in Bormio for the national youth volleyball finals, and by chance we found a place to stay in this facility. An almost new, modern and stylish four-bedroom apartment, furnished in every detail and rich in every comfort: a fully equipped kitchen, a coffee machine with plenty of courtesy sacks, a phone, a washing machine, dishwashers, etc.

Volleyball weekend

We arrived in Bormio on Friday evening and were greeted with great warmth. Our apartment is an apartment with every comfort, finely furnished thanks also to the beautiful wooden creations of the landlord. Viewed from the Bormio 2000 track and all in one step. My family and I can only thank Clara for everything, she made us appreciate even more a place already very beautiful in itself. I highly recommend it!

What a nice place.

We were Clara and her husband's first guest.Yes, because they didn't just rent an apartment!Super kind and available right away.Large and spacious apartment,clean and neat to the smallest detail.Excellent location, convenient in the center but a little deflated and therefore quieter.A nice garden with a swing for my twins was the cherry on the cake!we hope to be able to come back!
