Okay, the clean room, the spacious bathroom is beautiful, but I need to know who wrote the Great breakfast and where she ate it. Probably not here, since you could have a coffee and a cup of coffee and that's all. Nothing else. No jam, sliced biscuits, corn flames, yogurt, or even just something for someone who's intolerant to milk.

No, it's not.

Very cozy and lovely structure, impeccable service and excellent comfort. The rooms are cozy and with all the details well maintained and all the amenities provided.

We paid 80 euros for a night at 2. The rooms are correct. They have apparently been renovated recently. The boss is a little drunk and I think he would gain sympathy for his hostel in the center of this city.

There is little choice.

4 stars may be generous, but the commitment of the managers deserves it. Pro: large rooms, seem to have been recently refurbished, quiet, well equipped with accessories (TV, phon, WiFi); bathroom size not exceptional, but with a relaxing shower.

The best thing about this hotel is the attached restaurant, but it's central, there's really no reasonable alternative, and that makes you feel at least well-off as a hiker for a night.

Old but very good

This hotel is more than 400 years old ! It was such an experience! The walls are thick and the stairs are steep but it's worth the stay. It is quaint and charming. The rooms were small as was the bathroom , but the staff was nice and very accommodating. They even rescued us from a ravine ! 
The wifi signal didn't work in the hotel because the walks are so thick so you must go outside to use wifi. 
The doors have big keys that open them up which was cool in these days of modern times.

The ambiance is worth the stay !

It's a great hotel if you're on the vallelunga trail, rooms are not big, but they're nicely furnished, the bathroom's big, and it's got a hot tub, too bad for a bad breakfast or deserved five balls.

It's welcoming.

Reasonable hotel; patron was not particularly friendly but his wife was lovely.  Good food.  Right in the middle of town and across from the main gelato store.  We stayed here half-board and the food was quite good, especially their specialty rigatoni in cream & cheese sauce, also sausage.

Interesting town, good hotel

We arrived on the last Sunday of April when the town was in party mood. Young and old were dressed up in medieval costume and it was obvious this event has strong historical and community ties. The day culminated in donkey racing up the main street.
But back to our accommodation. Great situation in the middle of the main street and as we had a front facing room we had a grandstand view of the donkey racing. We ate in the hotel dining. We had the fixed menu as part of our deal. We were on a walking holiday. The food was OK but there was no evidence of great food although we had been told the restaurant was Michelin recommended- whatever that means. Breakfast was simple and informal in the hotel bar but the coffee and pastries were good.
