We stayed for a few days in August after meeting the manager Franco, last summer, passing by the Baita by chance for a coffee. His availability and sympathy won us over to the point of deciding to come back. And we did well! The location is to say the least charming: far from the noise and the crowd. The quadruple is spacious, comfortable. The interiors are all tastefully furnished and with antique furniture that make the atmosphere warm to the point of feeling comfortable. You can feel the deep passion in this nest that goes well beyond years of work. You can feel hosted at home and in the family. The outdoor view of a panoramic land with so many marble views. The pension is already beautifully furnished in the price and the offer has been so beautiful. Thanks to the excellent choice of the original cabin and kitchen, we still want to make sure that you do not get a whole lot of noise.

Exceptional

The reception is exceptional, Franco, his wife Rita and Marian have made us feel at home, the cuisine as always excellent, well maintained and of high quality, and being right at the beginning of the trails makes you forget about the car.

A vacation to repeat

Stayed 3 nights, comfortable room decorated in chalet style, with beautiful views of the Cervino, abundant breakfasts, gourmet dinners, very interesting menus, tried many proposals, all excellent and well-packed, fine wines, recommended by the cabin manager we tried excellent wines from the Aosta valley.

The Deer in front!

The location of the cabin is charming, at the foot of the Cervino. For mountain lovers this is the right location. From here many trails start to discover unspoiled places. Staying for a week in half-retirement we were able to taste the dishes that are very well taken care of, the products used are of very high quality, result: delicious dishes. Not to underestimate an aperitif on the terrace in the company of the marmots! I left with tears in my eyes but we will definitely return! Thanks to the very kind staff, Alessia, Michael, Eva and Petra.

What a wonderful experience.

We're staying, again we're staying in Baita for 4 nights but I decided to anticipate our review because it's just perfect. We're at the foot of the Cervino and 5 minutes from the center of Cervinia and so I'll let you imagine the landscape around us.

Over night  stop with friends 
Initially we couldn’t get to it  by car we called the the hotel and we were rescued  and escorted to the hotel in minutes! 
Great rooms  , great hosts nothing was too much trouble we had half board which was well worth it ! 
We had a one day pass which was €55 we went to the top had coffee and walked back down from the first lift ( Great walk down )

Super friendly hosts in a great position

Baita Cretaz is a beleutiful little traditional cabin, adapted for tourism, in a verrry tasteful way. The rooms have wooden ceilings, old, but perfectly functional furniture, traditional rugs. The living room has a fireplace, and you can spend minutes looking around. Everything is charming and makes you enjoy the vacation 100%. 
The beds are goood, comfortable! Super clean! ( cleaned daily)
Breakfast is very good, you can choose from what’s there, or ask for an omelet. 
It is located on slope #5 (blue), you can ski out in the morning (200 m to the lyft) and ski in at the end of the day. If you come from Plateau Rosa, make sure you follow initially the sign to Zermatt, that slope leads into 6 red and takes you to the right side of the mountain. If you take 7 from there ( pista Ventina), you end up in the wrong place at the end of the day end you have to walk through the village to get to the cabin.
The personnel is fantastic, the ambiance great.. Try all the menu, don’t forget to try the deer!

Beautiful, traditional cabin, great service and menu. Perfect location

Restaurant next to the Côté Cervinia track. Welcome. Beautiful sunny terrace. Fast and efficient service. Qq servers and the hostess speak French. The map is complete with many specialties. The fares are a bit high but here too we are on the track. You can come without reservation.

We were a group of 6 blokes who had visited the terrace bar last year and thought "Why not?"
We had a fantastic week in the friendliest hotel you could find.
There are only 7 bedrooms so you feel part of the family as soon as you arrive.
The beds are very comfy and everything is spotless.
Albert the" Scooby doo" driver picks you up and takes you down the 150 m at any time requested. You can walk down easily but not back up!
Alliona is a whirlwind of joy that greets you with a cheery conversation every time you meet her.
Davide looks after the bar and we kept him busy!
Renato fronts the restaurant and is very good at his job.
We were half board so you can choose 2 courses from the menu and anything else you pay a small surcharge.
It is very meat orientated but there are pasta options. The restaurant is open to the public and does a roaring trade. 
It was very cold when we were there so only sat on the terrace once but normally this is a fantastic spot to relax on.
Location is obviously great. You can nearly ski into the boot room!
Overall our general feeling is "Lets fill the place next year"

Fab trip for old blokes

Great three night stay at this hotel - friendly staff and nice room. The best feature is the location, immediately on the slope - cannot beat it !!! Staff very happy to take us up and down on the skidoo. Nice room with an increadible view. Had the half board option which was great - all produce from the Aosta valley. Many thanks !
