The hotel is an excellent base for visiting the surroundings of Brunico and Bressanone, which can also be reached comfortably by train. It is cozy and comfortable. The rooms are clean and spacious. Animals are admitted. International breakfast, both sweet and salty, with some products made by them such as cake and jam. For dinner there is the proposed menu but the possibility of choosing alternatives is given. The staff is kind and available.

Comfort and tranquility

Very nice hotel with a nice warm atmosphere in Tyrolean style. We stayed in a very nice room on the third floor with a balcony. The owner was very polite. Breakfast and dinner were taken care of by the same owner. I would suggest to the owner to remove the carpets from the room to leave the wooden floor in view. Many people are allergic. In general pleasant stay at the right price.

A very pleasant off-season weekend.

The hotel is nice but without an elevator (and carrying the suitcases for the stairs is not convenient), without air conditioning (and the night with the heat you do not sleep), pillows of feathers practically non-existent so much so that on the bed they use them as decoration (typical origami). The cabinets, the infissi, the carpets in the room.. It's all filled with dust.

If you choose another hotel, you'll definitely be better off!!!

Hotel model convent, room dusty and full of smoke (probably due to some cominnoli front room). The owner first offers a price and at the time of payment makes another saying that we should have cancelled booking, when in fact there is an exchange of mail.

If you have any chance of finding something else... do it!!!!!

I was in this hotel in August 2021 together with a family member and a spoonful of Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in a parquet. My room had a view of a tree and the magnificent castle of Castelbato, unusual because last year in an analogous facility I had been asked an extra figure (among other things high) for cleaning. Hotel small and very clean: room furnished in typical Tyrolean style with bed, furniture, wood finishes in massello and paquet in parquet. My room had a view on a content of spruce and on the magnificent castle of Castelbato.

As a family

I stayed at this hotel at the end of August 2020, a small and very clean hotel. Great hospitality from the owner who allowed us to bring our golden puppy with us without overpayment for cleaning, which is what ALL Dolomites hotels ask for! We took advantage of the half-pension after reading the excellent reviews on food and we did well! Surely saving time and money in looking for a nearby restaurant... one thing I note is that in the case of half-pension drinks are excluded! What I had not specified in the booking email, but that it was absolutely not a problem that dinner out would certainly cost us much more!!! The bikes are spacious, well maintained and clean! We could certainly have a nice floor and a beautiful staircase, but we also saw that the staircase is a very nice balcony, and above all, the staircase is very nice!

Clean and familiar

Excellent hotel in the small Chienes, good support and strategic point for many excursions; very friendly and available staff. Abundant European and international buffet breakfast. Excellent dinner served by courteous and friendly waiters always available.

Excellent hotel, very well received, recommended

Classic family-run hotel in Tyrolean style. Traditional structure but completely remodeled. Exceptional cleanliness. The kitchen is fantastic, perhaps the portions are a little scarce but definitely compensate with the quality. Suitable for both stops of passage and long vacations it is a small oasis of tranquility. Definitely recommended. Don't be fooled by the two stars are worth much more.

What a beautiful hotel.

La Bionda and Gerofono climbed all the way up here on the roof of Italy to visit a company that builds passive houses and spent a couple of nights at Obermair, where they slept very well in the most absolute mountain silence in a small hotel with exemplary cleanliness.

On top of everything, the kitchen is amazing.

The hotel is quiet, the owner is available and kind as well as the staff. Good food but a bit limited portions. The location is good enough to visit many places, within one hour you can reach many tourist places.
