Stayed May 17-26, 2017
- I am only writing the review just now. 

I don’t have much photos of the accommodation for I was too focused with the places I wanted to visit during my trip in Florence. I went there for an international conference and since I just finished my MA thesis then, I was really on a budget. After doing several research, I found this property that is just walking distance to a lot of important cultural sites.

The room I was assigned to is mixed. Meaning, mixed guests, boys and girls. Am good with it. I can manage. What I like much about this property is that even if rooms are shared, it’s clean. Not noisy. There’s a pantry where guests can cook. Good thing too that my roomies are all graduate students like me and they were in Florence that time for studies. 

I was able to leave my luggage too at the lobby after checkout. Since my flight back to Manila is late at night, I still have a lot of time in the morning to spare to visit other places. 

Staffs were all accommodating too. Check in and check out was smooth. 

I highly recommend this property for traveles on a budget. It’s safe, clean, and comfortable.

Nice and comfy place in Florence

Magnifique view of sunset from the top of dormitory room. I totally enjoyed staying at Ciao hostel even tho only one nite. I'd like to say thank you so much to ma trop belle Valeria for her kindness during my stay for the very 1st time.

I found the receptionist rather aloof, with an indifferent attitude to the check-in and my questions. 
The hostel itself was fine; bedrooms very clean and the 4 bed dorm was single beds Rather Than Bunks as Usual For Hostels. S

I was indifferent

This was my first time in Florence and i could not ask for a better welcome!
This hostel is clean, close to the train station; the staff was great and super helpful since they gave me good advices about things to do and see in Florence!
The room was spacious, with a wardrobe big enough for all the guests. Comfy beds and cool people..perfect!
I recommend this place and i would definitely go back there!

Great place to stay!

Had great stay at this hostel. So great that I extended  for a fifth night. Stayed in a 4 bed mixed dorm that was usually women! Clean room, bathrooms cleaned daily. Cooking facility could have used a few more utensils but adequate. Location was minutes from Florence train station and all the "attractions" we're with in easy walking distance. Can't wait to come back!


Florence vacation

Family stay of 2 nights. Very good location 5 minutes walk from the train station and the start of the tours on foot. Quiet neighborhood but under construction tramway. Common bathroom, no problem as such and convenient and clean common kitchen. Street work so noisy, clean room. Hotel without charm or even heat qd.

Correct

For me, New Year's or not, it's unthinkable to charge 280 euros plus tax a dusty room with broken beds and a clean common bathroom once a day... the only positive note is that it's close to the station.

The facilities are well maintained, clean and the staff was friendly, and it is highly recommended to do whatever you want in Florence, including a very nice place to meet people.

Excellent localization!

The hostel is located about 5 minutes from the main train station (Santa Maria Novella) and about 10-15 minutes from the tourist center. The receptionist was very kind and advised us how to get there, what to see and where to eat (he recommended a treatory called San Jacopino which is 5 minutes from the hostel and if you eat well and cheap, it has quite a reputation so it's better to get there a little earlier because there is usually no place).

Better than I expected!

I didn't get lucky, there was a lot of noise in the other rooms and nothing was done about it. When we arrived the room wasn't ready, when we came back later it wasn't yet... the main bathroom smelled terrible and the next day it was banned.
